Step 3: Summary
This article is about the ways in which a teacher can integrate technological tools into his/her
classroom in a way that is helpful and productive for the students. The article lists internal barriers including
lack of in-service training, a lack of available technology, and restricted curriculum that teachers have to
overcome in order to use technology to their advantage. It talks about training teachers need, support for the
new systems, and further research into teaching with technology in order to overcome these obstacles. It also
discusses the materials and procedures teachers could include in the classroom, and the article gives example
questions for teachers to use to their advantage. The article goes in detail about the study the authors
conducted over the matter. It shows that the results from the study came out extremely positive in regard to
adding technological tools to the classroom.
