WHAT DO YOU
SEE?
Take a few seconds and just look at the picture.

DEVELOPING AN ATTITUDE OF PROFESSIONALISM

OUR ATTITUDE
CONTROL OUR
LIVES.
We see the world, not AS ITS IS, but AS WE
ARE - or, AS WE CONDITIONED TO SEE IT.
The more we are aware of our assumptions,
the more we can take responsibility for those
false perceptions.

ATTITUDE

DEVELOPING AN ATTITUDE OF PROFESSIONALISM

Procastination

Is the symptom of overconfidence, apathy or lack of focus.

Quality of work is the first casualty, and the procrastinator’s
job quickly becomes the second.

Arrogance

Is the byproduct of unhealthy levels of pride and ego, and

dealing with arrogant people takes a lot of patience and a
great deal of self-control.

One-upmanship

Some co-workers feel the need to exaggerate their

accomplishments and pretend to have a frantic pace in an
attempt to portray themselves as busy “rising stars".
DEVELOPING AN ATTITUDE OF PROFESSIONALISM

Envy

The one who covets tends to only look at the benefits, such
as higher salary. Professionals who covet someone else’s job
or title are more likely to be unhappy at work.

Irritability and Short Fuses

Unnecessary short fuses reduce or prevent this flow of

information, and irritability is a barrier to people doing
their jobs.Unnecessary short fuses reduce or prevent this

Hidden Motives

Being authentic is an important underpinning of effective

relationships. Certain people will always have hidden
agendas and motivations.

PROPER
ATTITUDE
DEFINED
DEVELOPING AN ATTITUDE OF PROFESSIONALISM

WE HAVE THE INITIATIVE

AND THE
RESPONSIBILITY TO
MAKE THINGS HAPPEN.
Response-ability

The ability to choose your response.

DEVELOPING AN ATTITUDE OF PROFESSIONALISM

Proactive

Highly proactive people recognize that responsibility. They

do not blame circumstances, conditions, or conditioning for
their behavior. Reactive people are often affected by their
physical environment and their feelings.

Accountability

Taking responsibility of your own actions.

Commitment

You work with passion and feel a profound connection to

your creation.
DEVELOPING AN ATTITUDE OF PROFESSIONALISM

Integrity

The quality of being honest.

Communication

Setting clear expectations. We should not listen in order to

reply but to listen to understand.

Empathy

Respect for oneself and others.

DEVELOPING AN ATTITUDE OF PROFESSIONALISM

"Great things in business are never

done by one person, they're done
by a team of people."
- Steve Jobs
DEVELOPING AN ATTITUDE OF PROFESSIONALISM

THINK
POSITIVE.
Train your mind to see the
good in every situation.
DEVELOPING AN ATTITUDE OF PROFESSIONALISM

LOVE
YOURSELF.
Work in being in love with
the person in the mirror who
has been through so much but
still standing.
DEVELOPING AN ATTITUDE OF PROFESSIONALISM

Despite what we may visual, wish for and dream about

for our future, our limiting beliefs control how we
behave in life and our outcomes. Many of our beliefs
are stored in our unconscious mind and thus we aren't
even aware that they exist.Despite what we may visual,
