There is seasonal opposition between the Northern and Southern hemispheres.

When it is summer in the United States, Argentineans find themselves plunged into
winter. This influences many holiday traditions. Christmas and Year’s Eve, winter
holidays in the United States, call forth associations like snowmen, reindeer, and ice
storms in many parts of North America. In Argentina, however, people may go to the
beach at this season and enjoy all the delights of summer.

In the contemporary United States clothing

for men and women is becoming more alike.
It’s not uncommon to see whole families
dressed in sweatsuits, sneakers, and
baseball caps. Feminism and the fitness
craze have contributed to a tendency for
wardrobes to look fairly similar, regardless
of gender.

THE SEASONS OF THE YEAR

There are four seasons in a year:

WINTER
SPRING
SUMMER
FALL

When is winter in the north, it’s summer in the south.

When is summer in the south, it’s winter in the north.

WINTER : it’s cold and snowy.

SPRING : it’s windy and rainy.
SUMMER : it’s hot and sunny.
FALL : it’s cloudy and cool.
