LEGACY
• The architectural design transforms traditional Nepali
architecture by synthesizing it with modern features.
• Brick panels, wooden framed windows, overhanging eaves, and
wooden brackets form a modern expression of the traditional.

SPATIAL CONCEPT
• Stone selected for the flooring sets up a base colour for the interiors
palette

FLOORING DESIGN
• Wooden flooring in a herringbone is a classical pattern that works very
well in transitional spaces
• Burberry beige is a warm beige that is an elegant backdrop to the wall
finishes and soft furnishings.
• White Thassos is a high quality Greek non-figured white marble used as
inlay on beige.

STAIRCASE REFERENCES
• As a open area in front of the stair landing, the lobby is stylish and fluid. .
• It allows for casual seating with a wide Kagan-inspired curved sofa and a round table that plays
against the rectilinear geometries of the lobby.
• Protruding columns are absorbed in portal. Niches behind the sofa for decorative objets.
• The lobby functions as an expansive anteroom for party spillover and for casual visitors.

• The living room layout is formal and ordered for balance and symmetry along classical principles.
• It provides seating for 16 people and enough space to move around easily.
• A system of glass and pocket doors provide both privacy and circulation. .
• The orientation of the sofas takes advantage of the views and for easy access to the balcony.
