How to do second language acquisition in the first language environment? I think,
the first step could be to look at the real environment: To what extent is it "first
language environment"? Do the learners know and sing songs in the second
language? Do they hear the second language in radio or televizion? Do they read
the second language in instructions or written on merchadise or in advertising or
during their internet-activities? To what extent have they already used such
instructions or informations? To what extent did they already build hypotheses on
what such inscriptions or instructions mean and how they are pronounced?
You can start at these points. You can do research in this direction. Perhaps you
find a lot of second language environment within first language environment
