LESSON PLAN

SUBJECT: Educational Technology II (Ed. Tech SA)


CONTENT STANDARD: The learners will understand different software that supports learning and its
usage.
PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learners will be participating in my activity by answering the
riddles, it will enhance their thinking skills and it will help the learners
to think outside of the box.
LEARNING COMPETENCY: Familiarize the learners to the software that has been used in teaching.

I. OBJECTIVES:
1. Enumerate the use of the software in Education.
2. To provide professional development that connects technology with learning.
3. To improve instructional practices of teachers in order to effectively integrate technology.

D. ACTIVITY:(10 minutes)
The teacher will provide a riddle question to the students; this activity can help the students to
apply critical thinking skills.
E. ANALYSIS:(5 minutes)
The objective of the activity is to let the learners think limitless, Technology is innovation or creating
something new. Technology can be utilized to improve teaching and learning and help our students
be successful. When technology is integrated into lessons, students are expected to be more interested
in the subjects they are studying. Technology provides different opportunities to make learning more
fun and enjoyable in terms of teaching same things in new ways.
F. Presentation/ Discussion(20 minutes)
After doing the activity called riddle, the teacher will show a video about the purpose of technology
in our education and in our student. The teacher will discuss the help of Technology in our education,
and the software that we are using nowadays. There is a lot of application or software that can help us
to learn, the teacher will introduce the software from the book so that the learners can familiarize with
it, so that if time comes that they will encounter it, they will know what is that application and the
purpose of it.

G. Generalization

Today, more than ever, the role of educational technology in teaching is of great importance
because of the use of information and communication technologies. With the help of various
applications for distance education, the Internet, teachers, and students themselves, they see the
advantage of educational technology. Students who are engaged and interested in things they are
studying, are expected to have better knowledge retention. As mentioned before, technology can help
to encourage active participation in the classroom which also is a very important factor for increased
knowledge retention. Different forms of technology can be used to experiment with and decide what
works best for students in terms of retaining their knowledge.
