Steps to accessing Crusader Extreme Custom Scenarios

____________________________________________________
***NOTE: THESE INSTRUCTION ARE AN IMPROVEMENT OVER THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT
HEROESFLORIAN ORIGINALLY GAVE IN HIS THREAD HE MADE 2 YEARS AGO.
I ONLY CAME UP WITH HOW TO CREATE SCENARIOS DIRECTLY IN CRUSADER EXTREME
AND REWORDED IT INTO AN EASIER TO READ LAYOUT AND SIMPLIFIED.***

*Skip steps 1-11 if you got your file prepared already.*

Step 1: Launch the original Stronghold Crusader (not Extreme).
Step 2: Goto the Map Editor.
Step 3: Create a New Map.
Step 4: Custom Scenario Type Map, any size will do.
Step 5: Press Edit Scenario and add an event.
Step 6: Make any win and lose event that will NOT occur as soon as the scenario
starts.
Step 7: Save your map under any name such as "autowin".
Step 8: Start the map and save your game immediately.
Step 9: Exit Crusader.
Step 10: Open up the area where your Crusader (and Crusader Extreme) userdata is
stored; for me, that is "C:\Users\[my_user_name]\My Documents\Stronghold Crusader".
Step 11: Copy BOTH the map and the associated save (located in Maps and Saves
respectively) to the corresponding Crusader Extreme Folder (MapsExtreme and
SavesExtreme; names might vary.)
*Note: The preliminary preparation steps have been completed - they only need to be
done once.*

Step 12: Open Stronghold Crusader Extreme

Step 13: Goto the options button (alternatively press [ESC] key on Windows
Keyboard) and press the "Load" button.
Step 14: Load the save game you copied earlier to the SavesExtreme Folder. (Should
be the same as the name you saved it as.).
Step 15: Open the options menu and press Quit Mission.
Step 16: Ta-da, your at the Play Map Screen in Stronghold Crusader Extreme! As a
check, you should see your map that you copied earlier as part of the list of
games. It's exactly the same as the one in Crusader, choose a map and it'll load!
