Watch video ‘The Girl Who Stopped the World for Five Minutes’. Students will use

Management of behaviour:
As per what I have observed, asking students to be quiet by name and by stopping
and looking at them. Moving them if they continue to talk.
I have found these techniques to be somewhat effective, but I will also be sure to
remind the louder students to be respectful of their classmates and try and select
quieter students for their input into discussions as per the feedback I received on my
previous lesson.

Lesson conclusion:
We will do a quick run through of all the techniques addressed in class to check for
understanding and let students know what will happen next lesson.

Lesson Evaluation:
I ran over time going through the persuasive techniques with the class and was unable to show them the
video for the next lesson. The spelling test limited my ability to complete my full lesson as I was not aware of
it until the morning of. I need to be able to think on my feet better and adapt my lessons in order to account
for disruptions and unexpected events.
However, the students seem to have a good understanding of persuasive techniques.
