T he editorial team of Journal of Nepalese Prosthodontic Society(JNPS) and executive

committee of Nepalese Prosthodontic Society (NPS) are proud to publish its first
issue of Journal of Nepalese Prosthodontic Society. Five years after the establishment
of this society, we have been able to create a new chapter and we are sure, this will be a
milestone in the history of NPS.
Our main aim is to promote scientific paper publication ranging from research activities,
review articles, innovative clinical and laboratory procedures and recent advances
in material sciences and technology. This will foster knowledge and enhance skill
among academicians, clinicians and researchers within and beyond the boundaries of
Prosthodontics.
The success, continuation and creditability of this Journal depend on cooperation and
continuous effort of all of us and members from other discipline of dental fraternity.
The publication would not have been possible without relentless effort from all the
authors, reviewers, editors and contributors associated with this journal. The editorial
team welcomes your comments and suggestions for upgrading the quality of JNPS in
forthcoming issues.
As editor-in-chief, I would like to thank all the editorial team of JNPS, executive
committee and members of NPS, publication house and other persons, associated
directly or indirectly, for their hard work, support and constant encouragement during
the process of publication.
