The programme prepares graduates for a career in a growing global accountancy profession or
alternatively the fields of business and finance.
The Accounting programme aims are:
• To develop student’s ability to approach accounting from a critical and analytical perspective
• To equip students with the knowledge and employability skills necessary for a career in
accounting
• To enhance student’s intellectual experience through emphasis on analysis, synthesis and
evaluation of the subject matter
• To provide students with opportunities for in depth study of the selected subject area through
a cohesive programme of modules.
