As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for the definition and execution of
Hubzu’s ecommerce product platform strategy. The ideal candidate blends a strong
development background (former engineers are welcome) with product management skills,
and a passion for solving complex design problems with elegant, inventive solutions. You must
be able to transform data into insights and strategy and identify profitable opportunities that
meet the needs of our business.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain strategic technology capability roadmaps and drive agile
development teams to execute iteratively
Brainstorm multiple approaches to solve technology and business problems with other
product managers, architects and development teams to arrive at optimal solutions
Manage all stages of the product life cycle process to ensure timely and quality
deliverables
Create presentations and supporting documents to facilitate communication across
multiple teams and to leadership
Measure and analyze product and platform metrics, customer needs, and business
opportunities to shape the platforms' feature set and improve user experience
Continuously monitor the industry for emerging product and technology trends
B.Tech. or equivalent from a top tier college, preferably computer science or similar
MBA or equivalent from a top business school is a plus
3+ years in product management with a track record of successfully launching digital or
information products
Hands on experience with coding, web architecture and design concerns a must.
Product experience with web services and software APIs is a plus
Hands-on experience working as a product owner in an agile development process is a
plus. Startup experience is a major plus
Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to break down complex
problems and formulate plans
Proven ability to collaborate broadly with flexible, positive attitude and ability to get
results
Exceptional oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate to the senior
executive level
