Subject : Reduction of Lunch Time, from 1Hour to 1/2 Hour

Reason : As no of employees in recent year has reduced, it is possible to complete the

lunch within 1/2 an hour. As a result employees will be able to leave 1/2 an hour early.
It’s a win win situation for both employees and organization, as employees will be able
to spend more time with their families without any reduction of working time. It shall
enhance satisfaction level among employees and enable them to achieve higher overall
efficiency.

As a matter of fact, most of the EPC companies in NCR follows 1/2 an hour lunch time

Subject: From Convention Leave System to Hourly Leave System

Reason:

1. Sometimes, employees get late by even one minute which cost 1/2 day leave to
them.

2. Encourage employees to increase working hours due to occasional odd personal

requirements. e.g. PTM of kids etc. which, most of the times, may not necessarily take
exact half day. It will also increase satisfaction level among employees as there leaves
would be better utilized. win-win situation for both employer and employees.

3. As a reference, Fluor uses hourly leave system which is a successful model.

Lunch time to consider again as 30 minutes from existing 1 Hrs

Even though the flexibility of 1 hrs in morning timing i.e 7.30 to 8.30 am was introduced by the
company from last 2 years, which is very good step & in favor of employee and appreciable and at
the same time Lunch timing increased from 30 minutes to 1Hrs.

That time, Lunch hours timing increase was due to some other background.

Now, Lunch timing reduction is on high demand due to evening traffic is increased amicably for
traveling from Gurugram to Delhi.

It is really a very good initiative for employee, if evening time change from 4.30 pm to 4.00 pm, so
that long distance employee can reach home little earlier and can live a quality life.
