Bayugan National Comprehensive High School

Topic: Frequency distribution table of a data and interpretation of the data.

Learning Competency: The learner organizes data in a frequency distribution table.
Description: The learners’ cognitive aspect, manpower skills, and decision making will be developed since they will be
encourage to gather/collect data among street vendors about the number of their sales. They must have a good
understanding about productivity and accounting money to devise a localized and student-made survey. The output will
set as basis as how far the student had gone with the understanding of the topic and usefulness of such technique.
Role: Researcher
Audience: Street Vendors and Customers
Situation: Through time street vendors where gaining real productivity and sales especially for those popular ones like
quek-quek, fish balls, siomai, isaw and others. With this, students are tasked to devise a survey. A survey which would
supplement their understanding about the productivity of sales from these businesses and engaging to business of this
kind. They need to consider where to conduct or use the device only in the community or an assessable specific place.
Product: Accounted frequency of sales of street foods
Standards: The device will be measured according to its accuracy, re-productivity, linearity, and environmental effect.
Use the rubric below to check student’s work.

PERFORMANCE-BASED RUBRICS FOR INNOVATIVE MEASURING DEVICE

CONTENT STANDARD: The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts, uses and importance of data
collection/gathering.
PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learner is able to collect and organize data systematically and apply these
appropriately in data analysis and interpretation in different fields.

COMPETENCIES ASSESSMENT
The learner *Gathering GRASPS 4- The student can collect data among a 100% of the
organizes data in a Collected Data Data community’s vendors. 3- The student can collect data among
frequency gathering a 80% of the community’s vendors. 2- The student can collect
distribution table. device data among a 60% of the community’s vendors. 1- The
student can collect data among of the community’s vendors.

4- The device made is perfect, linearity is emphasized,

materials used are localized and innovatively created, neat,
and environment-friendly when replicated. 3- The
device made is 80% accurate, linearity is closed to perfection,
materials used are localized and innovatively created, neat,
and environment-friendly when replicated.
2- The device made is 75% accurate, linearity is fit to some
standard measuring devices, materials used are localized and
innovatively created, neat, and environment-friendly when
replicated. 1- The device can be
improved since it is closely accurate, degree of linearity is fit
to some standard measuring devices, materials used are
some localized and innovatively created, and eco-friendly
when replicated.
