EXAMINATION OF VEHICLES
1. CHECK THE THROTTLE BODY
(A) Check the sound operation of the motor throttle control.
(1) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(2) When pressing the accelerator pedal position sensor lever, check the sound operation of the motor rotation.
Make sure that there is no friction sound coming from the motor. If there was friction,
replace the throttle body assy. (B) Check the throttle position sensor.
(D) With the engine idling, check the engine rotation when the OCV is operated by intelligent tester II.

A99422 ATTENTION:
Make sure that the valves move freely and not be bogged down in any
position.
If necessary, replace the OCV assy.
If the valve is not returned properly for their foreign object, there can be little
leakage of pressure in the direction of the future and will exit the DTC.

EXAMINATION ON - VEHICLE
WARNING:
If the battery is weak or difficult to distart engine, recharge the battery and perform the checks again before returning the
vehicle to the customer.
1. CHECK THE BATTERY CONDITION
(A) Check the battery against damage and deformation. If damaged, it was found there's-
its deformation or leaks, replace the battery. (B) Check the electrolyte
quantity of each cell. For battery-free - treatment:
If the quantity of electrolyte is below the recommended amount, replace the battery. For batteries that are
not free - treatment:
If the quantity of electrolyte is below the recommended amount, add distilled water.
2. CHECK THE BATTERY TERMINAL, fusible LINK AND FUSE
(A) Check that the battery terminals are not loose or exposed to corrosion. If the terminal - the terminal exposed to
corrosion, clean the terminals - terminals. (B) Check the fusible link, fuse - H and fuse - fuse for prisoners under 1. If the
fusible link or fuse - fuse is not as specified, replace as necessary.
