En el desarrollo del laboratorio se afianzan conocimientos ya adquiridos en estudios de

los materiales entregados por el SENA para el Tecnologo en Analisis y Desarrollo de
Sistemas de Información.

1. Can you use HTML5 to write web applications that work off line?
Yes, HTML5 can also be used to write web applications that still work when you are not
online.

2. Mention four of the groups that includes the HTML5.

The HTML 5 working group includes AOL, Apple, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Mozilla, Nokia,
Opera, and hundreds of other vendors.

3. Which two groups created the HTML5?

HTML5 is a cooperation between the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Web
Hypertext Application Technology Working Group (WHATWG).

4. Mention and describe three of the New media elements in the HTML5?
HTML5 - New Features

Some of the most interesting new features in HTML5:

  The <canvas> element for 2D drawing
 The <video> and <audio> elements for media playback
 Support for local storage
 New content-specific elements, like <article>, <footer>, <header>, <nav>,
<section>
 New form controls, like calendar, date, time, email, url, search

5. What is SGV?

 SVG is used to define vector-based graphics for the Web

 SVG defines the graphics in XML format
 SVG graphics do NOT lose any quality if they are zoomed or resized
 Every element and every attribute in SVG files can be animated
 SVG is a W3C recommendation

6. What is SGV used for?

 SVG images can be created and edited with any text editor
 SVG images can be searched, indexed, scripted, and compressed
 SVG images are scalable
 SVG images can be printed with high quality at any resolution
 SVG images are zoomable (and the image can be zoomed without degradation)

7. Which browsers support HTML5?

Browser Support

Internet Explorer 9+, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Safari support inline SVG.

8. What new elements or features would you include to the HTML5?

I consider HTML5 as a language for the development of web pages is a tool that with the
latest updates has allowed to create this kind of format is more user friendly for the
developer, however I would like it to be more accessible to the development for the people
that such they do not have a basis in the codifications that is needed for the development
of
them.
