Statement of the purpose the Portfolio

The Field Study 5 portfolio was prepared and developed to provide and share
experiences and observations for the credibility of the activities undergone. Presented
in the portfolio were the observations and documentations of the task using the
activity forms provided by the laboratory manual.

The purpose of the portfolio is to provide evidences of:

a. teacher’s objectives in providing assessment tools and strategies for the students,

b. formulated test item,

c. result of the assessments,

d. customized table of specification,

e. item analysis; and

f. compiled self-reflection, rubrics, competency checklist and entries of evidences such


as pictures.
REFLECTIONS IN EVERY ACTIVITY

Reflection in activity no.2

Teacher Rowenna Carbonell was observed on March 6. 2019.During the quiz , she used
identification and modified true or false as her assessment tools for checking the understanding
of the English subject. The direction was read twice to the students but still students are having
the hard time to answer that leads them to cheat. Some students are relaxed and focused on
answering .
The result of the assessment will due to the instruction of the teacher to his students.
With giving good instruction you could also expect a good result. As much as possible, let the
students be exposed to performance based activities. Through these, better exposure would be
good for them.
Every teacher has their own way of making test questions andinstruction. But still, the
learning still depends on the minds of the learner.

Instruction given :

Keep quiet, encircle the correct answer in the paper and No cheating for the students was
only given at exactly I hour to finish the test.
In constructing test questions, you cannot do it the way you wanted , you must have to
follow the rules in constructing it. You can always look for many ways to make your own
assessment tool better and worth it. Be innovative . Search for other ways on assessing
learning students. Without the effort of a teacher, it would not be successful

It is very easy for me to do it because in our past subject which is assessment of learning
1, we already done it before.

The teacher used oral questioning because in oral questioning you can find out if
your students are listening to your discussion. So that, they will listen and they can
improve their social skills.

I think the sound assessment is the oral questioning because teacher gathers
information about the idea of their learners. It is much better to ask your students, because they
will participate in the discussion and teacher will get an idea to the answer of his students.
High Quality Classroom Assessment is important because it can provide accurate
learning of the students.

MY STATEMENT OF PURPOSE OF THE
PORTFOLIO
As an aspiring future teacher of this beloved country,
Field study were pre- requisites of the students going to next
level. In doing this FS, students must be able to observe the
things needed in the laboratory manual. After observing the
EPAC , the students will reflect on the observations and on
the things they have learned from the laboratory manual.

This portfolio is the collection of my observations, works


, and reflections on the things I have observed at the Eastern
Pangasinan Agricultural College (EPAC). Using this portfolio,
the learning assessment strategies would be presented to
the students and to the teacher to know what is now being
used in the secondary level.Thisportfolio was made to be the
evidence to the said observations from the schools. This
would include the Table Of Specification, exam, and other
elements of Field Study5.

My portfolio wil help others who wanted to learn


different assessment strategies especially to the future
educators.
