The course will have 3 main modules –

A. Basic Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Process.

B. Repair & Maintenance of Deep Freeze/Refrigerator/Water Cooler
C. Repair & Maintenance of Air Conditioner

After the completion of the course, the participants would be able to:

 Handle the basic tools & equipments in the workshop with safety
 House Keeping of workshop tools & equipment
 Identify the main mechanical components & electric motors used in RAC trade
 Maintain the inventory
 Install a refrigerator/room air conditioner/water cooler/deep freeze
 Service a refrigerator/room air conditioner/water cooler/deep freeze
 Do Pre-delivery inspections
 Check performances
 Identify refrigerants using gauges
 Air conditioner wiring.

a. Compressor ( Hermetic, Semi Hermetic, Open Type )
b. Condenser ( air cooled/ Water cooled)

f. Use of thermometer
g. Gauges( Compound & Pressure)
7. Use of measuring instruments such as
a. Volt meter
b. Ammeter
