Time of Day:

1. What steps did you go through to create this lesson? With whom did you talk, discuss, or
edit your lesson?
I talked with Mrs. Wyman and Mrs. Jernigan about what I should do and how I should do it.

2. How did the SOLs and Objectives help focus your instruction?
It helped me focus on what the students actually need to learn rather than just reviewing
unnecessary things.

3. What parts of the instructional plan worked well/as you anticipated?

All of it, the only part that I messed up on was their worksheets, I had printed the copies wrong
and had to re-print them.

4. What, if any, parts didn’t work as well? Did any adjustments need to be made once you
began?
All things worked as I anticipated.

5. How well did you anticipate the materials needed? What could you have done differently?
I could have paid more attention to how I was printing the paper and made sure it was in the
right way when I made copies.
6. How effective was the assessment you chose to use? (If no assessment was used, what will
the future assessment be and how will you gauge its effectiveness?)
I created a powerpoint to do a little quiz where the students would raise their hands and tell me
which picture was a need or a want.

7. To what degree do you feel that this lesson was a success? What evidence do you have for
the success of the lesson? (Hint: Student learning is the key to a lesson’s success!)

8. Did you spend enough time preparing for your lesson? How did your preparation contribute
(or take away from) the success of your lesson?
I did take time on my lesson, I wanted them to have a fun time while learning and not be bored
like I am in most of my classes.

9. If you could do this lesson again with the same students, would you do anything differently?
If so, what?
I wouldn’t change anything.

10. Any last comments/reflections about your lesson?

Nope :)))
