Name of Activity:

Concept(s): (What specific concepts/ideas will the children learn from completing this activity? Concepts learned may be directly related to the theme, as
well as indirectly teaching something else.)
Participate in teacher-guided visual arts activities.
-Use a variety of materials. (e.g., chalk, paint, crayons, pencils, markers, wood, play dough)
Objective(s): (Remember to include all three parts for each objective: what the children will be given, what they will do with what they’re given, and to
what level they’ll be able to complete the activity.)
The children will be given a bunny on a piece of paper with a certain color (red, orange,
yellow, etc) and a number will be given with it (1-6). Whatever the color of the bunny is they
have to match the same color cotton balls and how much cotton balls
Materials Needed to Complete This Activity
Available:
Preparation: (What do you need to do to prepare for this activity BEFORE the children arrive?)
The pom pom balls will be in separate bowls by color and the
bunny paper on the table with there names on it
Procedures: (In great detail, explain how to complete the activity. Your instructions should be good enough for someone else to teach the activity if
you are not here.)
Explain:
Yes I did fulfill my objective, The children followed the rules by counting the
number on top of the page and then putting that much puff balls on to make the
clown look like its juggling
-
The children will be given a piece of paper with a clown “juggling” on it. They will be given
colorful puff balls and dixie cups with glue.
Everything actually went really well. The children enjoyed how much color there
was and how big the colorful puff balls were.
3. In what way could you improve the activity?
The first time I thought I could of told them where to put the puff balls better
because some kids just put them all over the page. But the next day I learned
from my mistakes and told them specifically where to put them and it turned out
great!
