1.Summary
Chemical industry centrifugal pump is single stage single suction cantilever pump, the related
marks, rated parameters and dimensions are in accordance with ISO2858-1975（E）. It is confirm by
mechanical and electrical department to instead F type anticorrosive pump, it can save energy and
transport liquid with corrsion and viscosity alike water.
Chemical industry centrifugal pump maximum design working pressure is 1.6Mpa. Performance
Range
Capacity：6.3～400m³/h
Head：5-125m
Wetted parts can be made of different materials by the requirements of corrosivity. The materials and
codes of wetted parts are as follows:

2. Construction descriptions
2.1Main components of IHT type chemical industry pump are as follows,1.pump casing 2.impeller
3.seal ring 4.impeller nut5.puymp cover 6.seal parts 7.bracket 8.shaft 9. suspension frame
2.2The rotation direction is clockwise looked from drive side.
2.3Character:the pump cover is fixed on mid bracket by zhikou(the part where it is in the same
dimension of pump casing and bracket ),the pump cover is clamped in the middle by the connection of
pump casing and mid bracket.The inlet direction is horizontal, while the outlet direction is vertical.the
pump can be fixed on the foundation directly.suspension frame is fixed on mid bracket by zhikou,and
the suspension frame is fixed on the foundation by frame support.

3.dismounting and assembly
3.1 dismounting
3.1.1 dismantle the tap hole pipe closer on the pump casing and bearing, drain the liquid in casing and
lubricant in the bearing.
3.1.2dismounting the connection between casing and bearing
3.1.3dismounting the impeller nut, taking down the impeller and key
3.1.4Taking down cover with axle bush, mechanical seal and its end cap.
If the seal is special in construction, a different way of dismounting is adopted
3.1.5dismounting mid bracket and suspension frame support.
3.1.6dismounting and pump cover and key
3.1.7dismounting front and back caps of bearing, taking down the shaft with bearing
3.1.8dismounting the bearing from shaft
3.2 Assembly
Reverse procedure,at the same time check the gasket, if it is damaged. Replace it.
4 Installation
4.1 Check the outline and dimensions.if no damage or loosen parts during assembly, disassembly and
transportation.the inlet and outlet cover are intact.then do the installation work directly without
dismounting and assembly.
4.2The base surface should be horizontal,check the level condition before installation.after the cement is
in solidification state, place the pump on the base.check the level condition by gradienter.then adjust the
pump and motor until the shaft is horizontal.
4.3 After the cement turns into solid,check whether the bolt are firm enough,then tighten the bolt.check
the level condition again.
4.4 The coaxiality should be checked between pump shaft and motor shaft..the tolerance of coupling
outer circle should not exceed 0.1mm. the gap between two coupling should not exceed 0.3mm.
4.5 Bracket is needed to bear the weight of the inlet and outlet pipe.
4.6 Filter is needed to avoid inhale solids.

5. operation of the pump
5.1Start.
5.1.1start necessary tools.
5.1.2check the oil
5.1.3check the rotated direction of the motor then connect the coupling.
5.1.4Turn the shaft. There should be no friction.
5.1.5before start,fill the pump case with medium liquid or vacuumize it.and shut the outlet valve.
5.1.6 Shut the inlet and outlet pressure gauge and exhaust valve. Start the motor.
Then open the pressure gauge,and adjust the exhaust valve slowly to required position.
5.2Operation
5.2.1 Check the temperature rise of the pump and motor frequently,the temperature rise of the bearing
should not exceed 35℃,limit temperature should not exceed 75℃.
5.2.2Pay attention to change of oil level in the oil chamber,refill the oil according to using
condition.generally,replace the oil after running 1500 hours.
5.2.3Check the pump when failure occurs, go on running after problem is solved.
5.2.4 In order to prevent cavitation happen,do not use the valve of inlet pipe to adjust the flow.
5.2.5 Another outlet pipe is needed if the pump runs in condition lower than 30% design capacity.
5.3Stoppage
5.3.1Shut the discharge pipe valve and all instruments.
5.3.2Shut the pressure gauge,shut the inlet pipe valve.Close the mechanical seal cooling water
5.3.3If ambient temperature is lower than freezing temperature, the liquid in pump must drained off.
5.3.4If long-time stoppage, drain the liquid in the pump and clean all the components.

6. Attentions of using mechanical seals
The pump can install different mechanical seal according to different condition.The wayof use
mechanical seal should be in accordance with the provision in<<mechanical seal installation
manual>>.Pay attention to the following instructions:
6.1 Newly installed pipes and tanks must be cleaned.
6.2 Mechanical seal should often be cleaned.
6.3 Be careful, when dismount the seal. Hammer is prohibited.
6.4 If dirt exists, clean it first and then do dismounting.
6.5Before installation, check all the components.
6.6Check the relative friction surface of dynamic ring and static ring.
6.7Eliminate the deviation when installing.
6.8Adjust the decrement of spring
6.9For outside washed mechanical seal, open the coolant, fill the chamber with coolant.

6.2 Mechanical seal should often be cleaned.

6.3 Be careful, when dismount the seal. Hammer is prohibited.

6.4 If dirt exists, clean it first and then do dismounting.

6.5Before installation, check all the components.

6.7Eliminate the deviation when installing.

6.8Adjust the decrement of spring
