An intense light guides my walk
With their piety and tenderness the road has to light
To advance in this life with calm.
(Cuando en la oscuridad me parece estar
Una luz intensa guía mi caminar
Con su piedad y ternura el camino ha de alumbrar
Para avanzar en esta vida con calma.)

Mother you are by the grace of our Lord

I know that's why you understand my fear.
When evil appears in my life
the ardor of your love returns me to the path of God.
(Madre eres por la gracia de nuestro señor
Sé que por eso entiendes mi temor.
Cuando la maldad aparece en mi vida
la fogosidad de tu amor me vuelve al sendero del Dios.)

Mother, intercede for me before Our Father,

Oh mother! that you take care of my path, in this little certain way
Oh mother! that you listen to our plea, in the days of pain.
Oh mother! that you share your thanks, with these souls in disgrace
(Madre, Intercede por mi ante Nuestro Padre,
¡Oh madre! que cuidas mi sendero, en este camino poco certero

Happy I'll be in your arms back
Next to that blue sky, decorated with golden stars
And receive the embrace of your beloved wings.
(Cuando el fin de mi camino se acerque
Feliz estaré de a tus brazos volver
Junto a ese cielo azul, decorado con estrellas doradas
