Introduction:

The Owners business name is “Sweet Potato corner” Since people nowadays
commonly known the popular fries which is made by potatoes . We replace it to sweet potato or
“kamote” And the slogan“It’s surFRIESingly delicious!” mean the customer will be surprise
once they ate sweet potato fries.

The business logo theme is Color red and orange that symbolizes purity that our sweet potato
fries is unique that attracts customers and other business to an area. The Owners Decided to build
this businessat Dalumangcob, Sultan Kudarat Maguindanao fronting the Gate of SKNHS. The
business Capital is P2.4 Million because the business owners invest P400,000each for the
properties, Stall Design and other need’s for this business

A. The Business Concept and Business Model

The Business Concept:

Since fries is one of the most popular snacks, the proponents wanted to be the first to
offer fries made of an abundant but underrated root crop available in the market. Customers will
have a new choice of variety of their favorite snack. This new type of fries will also be cheaper
and more affordable than regular fries since the ingredients used to produce them are also
cheaper.

The Business Model:

The Owner and other business partner has its own sweet potato farm at Sultan Kudarat,
Sultan Mastura and Dalican, but the Owner’s decided to get an alternative suppliers, the name of
the suppliers is AAA Enterpises and many other businesses that offers sweet potato products
located at Parang, Maguindanao in case of supplies shortage.

B. The Business Goals: Vision, Mission, Objectives and Performance Targets

Vision:

To become the pioneering group that created the first Sweet Potato Fries business in the
local and national market.

Mission:

To provide customers a new variety of fries that is competitive and satisfactory at an


affordable price.

Objectives

 To introduce a new variety of Sweet Potato fries in the area.

 To produce products of high quality at an affordable price.

 To gain customer loyalty through sales strategies.

 To eventually have other branches.

Performance Target:

This type of business was chosen considering that the target market is composed of students.
Students are often mobile, moving from one place to another. They prefer food that they can
bring anywhere. This is why the business decided it to make it a take-out business.

Market Analysis:

The direct competitors of this business are the vendors and stall that sells snacks outside
Sultan Kudarat National High School, Sultan Kudarat Maguindanao.

C. The Business Offering and Justification

Sweet Potato Corner belongs to the prepared food/takeaway business category. This refers
to food that is ready to serve with little or no further preparation. It has been processed by
cleaning, cooking, and/or wrapping for sale. This type of business was chosen considering that
the target market is composed of students. Students are often mobile, moving from one place to
another. They prefer food that they can bring anywhere. This is why the business decided it to
make it a take-out business.
