ANNUAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN ENGLISH


S.Y 2018-2019
I. INTRODUCTION

English subject is one of the major tool for learning. When students understand and learn the skill
in communication, he/she will learn and understand the other subjects. So teaching English subject
requires time, health, mind and body and good stimuli.

Every teacher should have a various knowledge and information of upgraded ways, techniques
and strategies of teaching the subject and also innovative end of the school year, he/she must be a Global
teacher to cater the needs of today’s learners.

II. OBJECTIVES

This report intends to:


1. Give information about achievements/ accomplishments made by the teacher and the
students.
2. Identify the activities undertaken to achieve the desire target for this year.
3. Express future plans for the subject.

III. HIGHLIGHTS OF ACCOMPLISHMENT:

A. Pupil Development

1. Conducted the Pre and Posttest in Phil-Iri.


2. Implemented the Read-A-Loud to develop love for reading.
3. Implemented different intervention programs to enhance reading and comprehension
like ECARP, Word for the Day, Paragraph a Day, A Story a Day.
4. Conducted Intensive review classes by individual and group.
5. Conducted individual tutorial.

B. Teacher Development

1. Attended District/ Division Level-Seminar Workshop on PHIL IRI.


2. Attended District based in Service Training.
3. Attended the LRMDS Orientation.
4. Attended the Regional seminar of Grade 7 English teacher.

C. Curriculum Development

1. Finished/ completed the required learning competencies for each grade level.
2. Assessed students’ performance through different tests.
4. Received supplementary books in English Grade 7
5. Continuous preparation of Instructional Materials.
6. Provided and used proto-type lesson plans.
D. Physical Facilities Development

1. Continuous room structuring to make them conducive to learning.


2. Provided updated information for the subject through bulletin and display boards.
3. Provide Multi- media equipment.
4. Eradicate non-reader in grade 7.

IV. FUTURE PLANS

1. Solicit 99% support from the parents and other stakeholders.


2. Procure Reading books and magazine for the library.
3. Enhance the reading with comprehension of every learner.
