Brief Lesson Plan or Log Type

(TVL–ICT-Computer System Servicing Grade 11-12)

I. Objective/s:

Week 4: Determine the location of the devices/systems to be used


(TLE_ICTCS9-12CN-Ia-1 – 1.4)

1. Determine the location of the input and output devices.

II. Subject Matter:

Peripherals: Lesson 4. What are the input and output devices of a computer?

Materials: TVL-ICT-CHS Grade 11 CG, LM, LCD projector, screen board and laptop.

III. Procedure:
Pls. refer to TVL-ICT-CHS in LMGrade 9-12 pp. 46-51

Pre-assessment Activity(Tiered Lesson Activities):Students will group themselves into 3 with at


least 10 members then the teacher will show a picture of a computer and then students will
determine the name of each parts (10 mins.)

Group I (below grade level):Students will group themselves into 3 with at least 10 members
then the teacher will show a picture of a computer peripherals and let themdetermine if it is an
input device

Group II (at grade level): Students will group themselves into 3 with at least 10 members then
the teacher will show a picture of a computer peripherals and let them determine if it is an input
device or output device

Group III (above grade level): Students will group themselves into 3 with at least 10
membersthen the teacher will show a picture of a computer peripherals and let them determine
if it is an input device or output device with its functions
Lesson proper :( 40 mins.)
Pls. refer to LM Guide in TVL-ICT-CHS Grade 9-12 pp. 46-51

I. ACTIVITY:
 Group the students into five.
 Let them determine the location of the input and output devices of the computer.
 Ask someone or the leader in the group to determine and discuss their function.

II. ANALYSIS:
Ask the following questions:
 How do you feel about the activity?
 Do you have the same answers with the other group?
 Are you now mindful of what device determine if it is an input device or output device? What is
then input device and output device?

III. ABSTRACTION:
 The teacher will discuss briefly to determine the location of the devices and all the input and
output device is and its functions.
 Walkthrough of the location of all input and output devices.

III. APPLICATION:
The students will:

 Have an activity regarding on how to determine the location of the devices and if it is an input
device or output device. Ask the students to determine the device on the slide show if it is.
