After children examine the toys, the teacher shows the presentation which is created
by Prezi to children.
Group Learning Activities Learning the song and movements by using the
“vehicles” song.
Summary
Teacher prepares puppets of vehicles for the activity. Then, s/he finds the toys of the
vehicles (plane, air balloon, ship, train, bicycle, tractor, car, bus) and places them
around the classroom. Teacher shows a presentation from Prezi to children in order to
give them brief information about vehicles.

Sensual How did you feel while doing movements of the song?
Questions:
First of all, before the activity, teacher prepares a presentation about the vehicles by
using Prezi. Also, teacher prepares puppets of vehicles for the activity. Then, s/he finds
the toys of the vehicles (plane, air balloon, ship, train, bicycle, tractor, car, bus) and
places them around the classroom. When children come to there, teacher wants them
to examine the classroom and to tell what they see. After waiting children’s answers,
Teacher shows the presentation to children in order to give them brief information about
vehicles. This presentation includes the pictures of vehicles and the names of them.
With the supporting of this visual tool, children are provided to repeat the names of
vehicles several times and learn them. While children are watching the presentation,
teacher can ask questions such as “Where do we see these vehicles in our daily
life?” and “Which vehicles do you use while coming to the school?”. After descriptive
part is completed, teacher says the nursery rhyme and it includes:
İşte geldi bilmece zamanı
Bilin bakalım bilmecemin cevabını
Herkes beni duysun çocuklar
İpucu size cevaplar taşıtlardan!
Next, s/he says the first riddle and it clarifies:
“Masmavi bir yerde uça uça giderim
Bulutların içinden geçer geçer giderim”
Children’s guesses are listened and then, teacher says “Let’s see what the right
answer is. I wonder whether the plane is right answer really or not. I show and…”
airplane puppet is showed the children. Next, second riddle comes:
“İki tekerleği var, birbiri ardına gider.
Sakın araba sanmayın bambaşka bir adı var”
Children’s guesses are listened and again, teacher spices in the situation and shows
the bike puppet. Like these riddles, the others listed below are also asked to children in
order. These are:
The third riddle is;
Rengarenk kocaman bir yuvarlak
Sepetinde yolculuk yapar insanlar
Gökyüzüne bakarak
(Children are expected to say the name of air balloon, and then, air balloon puppet is
showed to them)
The fourth riddle is;
If children find the answers of the riddles easily and quickly, the teacher increases the
number of riddles or makes the riddles more challenging. Dumanı tüter
Kaptanı isterse gider
Balık değildir
Denizde yüzer
(Children are expected to say the name of ship, and then, the puppet is showed to
them)
The fifth riddle is;
“Çok tekerleğimle giderim yolları
Sırtımda yüküm vardır taşırım onları”
(Children are expected to say the name of truck, and then, truck puppet is showed to
them)
After the riddles, the video of “vehicles” song is watched with the children and related to
the song, the movements are done with them. Song is:

provide permanent learning and learning the movement. Then, activity is ended by
asking assessment questions.
Back-Up Plan;
If the teacher can put the presentation into an USB so that, the teacher can use the
presentation if the Internet gone. Also teacher can print out the presentation and
shows it to children in a visual way as a precaution.
