About Dataware
DATAWARE SDN BHD is a member of CMG group of companies. CMG
Holdings (CMG) is a 100% owned Malaysian company; its subsidiaries consist
of CMG Technologies Sdn Bhd, CMG Online Sdn Bhd (MSC), Insoft Sdn Bhd,
and CMG Oversea Sdn Bhd. The group of companies are focusing on IT

that of project management. This ensures the availability of skills of project
planning, monitoring and control. Dataware selects for each project a project
manager who has served in a managerial or supervisory capacity in earlier
projects.
Technical Orientation

they also encapsulate the expertise of persons in an external form. It also
practices an assiduous error analysis, to provide for future use a preventive

Networking
Dataware's IT Architecture & Networking specialty services range from designing
and implementing multi-tier, fully redundant and fault tolerant networks in support
of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications to Help Desks / Call Center
Solutions.
Project Management
Dataware's Project Management methodology is usually customized to meet the
individual client project requirements. The intent of the methodology is to provide
the executive management and project team a clear and concise representation
of the project status at all times. Many of our project managers have multiple
years of training and experience in a variety of projects that cross several
industries including financial services, manufacturing, health care, utilities, and
transportation.
Project Outsourcing
Dataware maintains the Project Management Disciplines, Technical and
Applications expertise, and a Proprietary Project Methodology that enable us to
provide complete project outsourcing capabilities in a high quality, "Best Value"
fashion. We take full responsibility to deliver Applications Development &
Maintenance, Network Help Desk, Call Center support, and Systems Consulting
projects on time and within budgets using either client facilities or our own project
laboratories.
General Support Services
Dataware provides General Support Services in several areas that directly
support and compliment the applications development and software integration
efforts of our clients. These include developing User Procedures and Technical
Documentation, providing User and Technical Training, as well as the Operations
rollout and Help Desk/Call Center support once the application has been installed.

Dataware’s DRC is completed with the facilities such as the infrastructures stated below and
professional engineering services will be offered as follows: -
The DRC’s design is clearly indicated in the floor plan provided in the Appendix A, “Disaster
Recovery Center Floor Plan Layout”.
3.1 Infrastructures
3.1.2 Air-Conditioning
The server room is equipped with split air-conditioning. Two units of air-conditioner with automatic
switch function are used. With this facility, the servers will be able to perform in optimal
environment.
3.1.4 CCTV
CCTV is installed in the server room to monitor and observe any activities on the servers.
CMG helps YKK to establish regularly scheduled system backups. CMG propose the following
recommendation as guideline:-
Engineer Standby
CMG located our engineer at the DRC in Menara MAA, Johor. The engineer will be performing a
daily incremental backup of data. The backup media will be stored at our fire safe cabinet in DRC.
Furthermore, our engineer will be doing all the monitoring and observing tasks on the server,
storage and network. This is to ensure smooth and complete backup is taking place everyday.
Nevertheless, the engineer will always maintain and ensure that all the facilities are in good
condition and perform well. The facilities must be able to perform in an optimal environment. With
this routine activity, we can ensure YKK on full protection from data loss due to damaged
equipment, software upgrades, viruses, user mistakes, hackers and theft. Last but not least,
Dataware suggest a monthly technical meeting with YKK. The purpose of the meeting is to solve
any pending issues and to discuss on any recommendation and ways to enhance the
performance of the DRC.
**All government services and sales tax are to be borne by YKK (Malaysia)
Sdn Bhd
CMG also provides cold and warm disaster recovery strategy and services. The
fundamental requirements of DRC and required facilities are being deployed at Menara
MAA, Johor. System replication exercise and operation procedures were also
implemented for Ranhill. Currently, our DRC communicates with REC and RWS were
using a proven wireless facility with 20 Mbps wireless speed.
