Introduction

Heartfelt Greetings to all my dear friends and readers who wish to read my adventurous fairy

tale. Today I am going to introduce a tail of bravery of a young woman who along with the

help of good beasts avenge the evil rule of a white witch and bring them to justice restoring

peace and righteousness. The tale is inspired by many of the famous folklore of European and

Asian countries. The tale has been especially motivated by the very popular fairy tales such

as the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and the Jack and the Beanstalk.

The Princess of Hope Land

Once upon a time, there was a great kingdom named Hope Land where wise man ruled and

fools were given wisdom. The kingdom was ruled by the wise king along with the queen.

They had a beautiful daughter the little princess and the whole kingdom lived in joy and

prosperity. The king was very righteous and the queen very courageous. The princess was

named Rose and was loved the most by the folks. The kingdom was friendly and prosperous.

The king was wise and believed in peace. One day the lightning stroke the kingdom storm

came and took away the dear queen. The king became furious and folks went into agony for

the Rose did not wither as she was like a fairy.

The king became worried about Rose and sought for a competition to find a new queen. A

lady won the competition as she had no match and became the queen. Nobody knew she was

the white witch who lived for a long to bring her evil rule. The evil queen put her magic on

the king but Rose was a rebel who did not fall. The king lost his mind and become her

puppet. The queen started bringing misery upon the kingdom and lands were filled with

drought and the parks empty. One day the new queen poisoned the king and cried out loud

“Who murdered my King?” Many fine men were brought to gullet in and the kingdom was

taken in rule by the evil queen. Misery fell upon the palace. Rose was fine blood and grabbed

her horse. She rode to the forest and did not stop. The forest was dangerous and Rose was

stranded. She reached a hut and rested calmly. The sun rose and also roused the nine rabbits

who were surprisingly the owner of the house.

The first one yelled, "Who's that girl?" The second one danced and the third clapped. The

fourth one danced and the fifth made funny noises. The sixth made the breakfast and seventh

cleaned up the table. The eighth sat beside the girl and the ninth gave her a rose and

addressed her princess. All sat at the table looking for the celebration but the girl looked very

sad and was frightful not looking stable. The girl lost her father and her home did not know

what to do. She began crying and the tears rolled making wet the whole table. The rabbits

were shocked at her condition and tried their best to make things happen but everything went

in vain as the girl was hurt badly and did not want to mingle. The rabbis understood that

something is terribly wrong and the young girl is very alone and lost. The wise rabbit told,

"Tell us all and we will help?" The girl was strong and said it all. The rabbits were furious

and some of them strongly stalled.

The rabbits gave her a nice room with all the new robes as she was the special guest and

needed to groom. The princess agreed to stay as she had nowhere to go. The forest was

magical and filled with special creatures. Soon the sun went down and the animals were

invited to the wild party. The rabbits cooked great food and decorated the whole house and

brought down many tables. The princess was ready and wore a beautiful dress and everyone

was amazed as they have first time seen something so beautiful. The princess was welcomed

at her seat was fixed with the central table. Soon the guests came pouring and the girl was

amazed at the creatures started talking very much as a normal human. The black bear was

welcomed on the board as someone very familiar. The deers and the monkeys came with a lot

of gifts as the rabbits had already announced that the party is being hosted for the princess.

The wolves and the jackals came with their families and started singing. The giant elephant

came and greeted the princess and brought a beautiful necklace made by the forest stones for

the heiress. The snake mother came upon and blessed the young girl and gave her the best of

the wishes.

The rabbits started the music and the guests began swinging and the cheetah set the stage on

fire and the crowd kept singing. The elephant came upon to dance and lifted the princess. The

first genuine smile came upon the cheeks of the dear little princess. The party came upon halt

as there was a very loud roar. Every one of the guests including the rabbits bends a little in

respect. Sooner the princess realised that the king of the jungle has arrived. The lion king

came upon and surprised everyone when bowed to the princess. Along with him came his

minister the wise tiger who praised the courage of the girl. The dinner was set and everyone

sat down to dine around the princess. The lion king announced that the father of the girl has

saved the forest many times and deserve every help that is needed. The snake mother asked

"What do you wish for?" to the little girl. The little princess announced out loud "I want to

avenge my father's death and want to save my kingdom from the claws of the white

witch?"Suddenly everyone shrieked as they knew about the powers of the witch they said it is

very difficult to match the dark powers of the new heiress.

The rabbits announced that they will stand as they do not fear the dark heiress. Everyone

turned to the lion king to hear his wisdom. The lion king said, "To fight such a force a

nobleman is needed". The giant elephant said, "The prince of Bravia would help if very

kindly pleaded”. The princess stood up and announced that “She will go to Bravia to meet the

prince”. The rabbits thereafter agreed to go with the princess. The lion king announced,

"Prepare self for the ugly battle as many shall fall in order to claim back the throne".

Everyone became excited as it was war and the elephants trumpeted and the lion roared as

they knew that if they win this battle the good old days will soar. The noise reached the old

palace to the evil queen who laughed. She said to her friends "Prepare to fight as the forest

will fall". The evil queen prepared the army and gathered her friends for the giant battle. The

dark queen laughed out loud and announced: "I am undefeatable and most powerful among

them all". All of the dark armies cried out loud "Let them come as we are ready to prey them

all".

The princess and the brave nine rabbits left for Bravia and were troubled by the lot sent by

the evilest women of the whole story after all. The princess single hand-idly slew them all

and saved the rabbits. The rabbits were amazed to see her strength and praise them all along.

They all reached Bravia but found out that the new prince was very proud. The prince refused

to entertain any of them after all. The princess than planned to breach the walls and reached

the prince's sleeping hall. The princess kept the prince at the edge of her sword of which the

prince laughed a lot as he was already impressed by the courage of the princess. The prince

listened to the tragic story and said: "I will help you with all my might if you are prepared to

stay with me forever". The princess understood that the prince was alone and said: "I will

become your bride only after you give me back my throne". The prince then hugged as well

as embraced the princess and assured her saying “I have already fallen in love with you and

am ready to go far to make you my queen”. The prince agreed to fight and announced to his

army "Prepare to fight as the battle will be tough and may last for many coming nights". The

princess became very happy and hugged the prince and the rabbits were dancing as it was a

very special night.

The princess and the prince when reached the forest were full of shock. The wise tiger said,"

The evil witch slew them all and took the lion king along to weaken them all". The princess

then took out her sword and announced: "I will take the revenge and will free them all". The

mystical rabbit than followed "Everyone should keep their calm as the evil women have to be

defeated only with the help of mighty magical stone". Hearing this mongoose shrieked "The

mighty stone lies beneath the giant waterfall and is protected by the dreaded dragon after all".

The prince then decided to go for the hunt and said: "I will return with the stone till you all

engage the evil queen after winning against her is not easy at all". The prince hugged the

princess and said: "I will save you all". Everyone from the jungle prepared to fight and

reached the battlefield fully prepared to fight. The evil queen laughed and said, "Welcome

you all I want to drink your blood in order to rule the whole world".

At the dawn, the battle began and the princess started fighting more bravely than all and slew

the dark army with the help of the powerful sword. The evil queen shrieked and released her

giant monsters ordering them "Kill them all". Meanwhile, the prince reached the waterfall

into the dragon's mouth. The dragon smiled at him and said: "Do you want to die after all".

The prince then spoke, "I have a blood of a dragon slayer and am not afraid of you at all".

The prince continued "Give me the blue stone or else I have to kill you after all". The dragon

roared in fury "You are no match to me" and flew towards him to attack the prince and his

horse. The prince was very brave and jumped upon the neck of the dragon. After putting the

dragon on his sword he said: "Help me and I will let you live". The deal did not go smoothly

as the dragon threw fire upon which the prince bargained "Fight with me and if we win I will

make you the king". The dragon they smiled and thoughtfully said: "I will fight for you but I

will need my stone as well as the necklace of the evil queen back." The time was running low

as the sun has started returning and the whole of the world praised the prince who rode a

dragon to the battle after all.

The battlefield had already reached its half as the evil queen was dominating them all as she

was very much powerful of them all. Only the princess and a few of the army remained alive

and prepared to fight. The evil queen shrieked "You have lost surrender or I will finish every

one of you at all". The monsters shrieked "I want to kill them all so that no good will ever has

the courage to fight us all". The princess then shouted out loud "You all are the fool after all

as you all are going to die by my sword". The princess attacked and slew many of the

monsters and eventually reached the evil queen. The witch herself turned into a huge monster

and shrieked "Today I will capture you all and will establish my evil rule for ages and more".

The battle between the princess and the evil queen began and sadly the little princess began to

fall. The monsters began to dance "We have won and will eat them all". Suddenly there was a

blaze of fire and many of the monsters turned into ash the dragon along with the prince had

arrived to turn around the battle. The dragon roared to the prince "You go save the princess

and I will take the evil army" and the whole world shook as the mighty dragon started

spraying upon his fury.

The prince jumped upon the evil queen and hit her hard with the magical stone. The evil

queen cried out loud in pain as the first time since she had experienced so much pain. The

prince rescued the injured princess and said: "I will take the battle from here as you have

fought very bravely my dear princess". The princess then said, "Make sure you avenge my

father's death and remember to keep the stone near the evil queen". The prince then ran and

attacked the evil queen but was thrown back by her evil power as he was also a no match.

The prince has already weakened the evil queen by bringing near her the blue stone. The evil

queen laughed at the prince and said: "You have failed dear as you too commit a lot of

mistakes". The evil queen announced, "Now no one can defeat me after all". Suddenly a roar

shook the whole battleground and there came the lion king and said: "You are mistaken as I

am very well trained to kill all the evil like you upon the earth". He jumped upon the evil

queen and tore her apart as the stone had made the evil queen weak and mortal. The lion king

roared "All evil must die and only the good will remain". The whole battlefield bowed to the

lion king who will thereafter be remembered for ages.

The sun rose and the celebrations began and everyone hugged and embraced each other as the

battle has been won by the mighty little brave princess. The princess hugged the lion king

tight and said: "You have kept your promise and will always be remembered for ages". The

lion king laughed and said, "I was only performing my duties as the evil queen had once

taken my wife along with my family". The lion king said, "Your father once saved my life

and today the debt has been paid". All the folks came along and started singing "Long live the

brave prince along with the princess and long life the great lion king along with his wild

mates". The throne was restored upon to the princess and the rabbits were celebrating and

were very happy. The royal wedding ceremony took place and the dragon was invited who

announced: "The king and the queen will be protected by me till my last breath as I have

never seen such courage throughout many ages". The story ended with the victory of good

over evil and the old owl sang "I have never heard such a wonderful fairy tale since the great

age of the sages”. Longed lived the prince and the princess and regularly greeted by the

creatures and the rabbits who used to talk about the great battle when sat together to party.

Self Critique

The fairy tale is a very new and fresh tale and breaks many old stereotypes used by many of

the conventional fairytales that show females as more tender and focus on the differentiation

of the roles based on gender. The fairy tale The Princess of Hope land is filled with emotions

such as love, empathy, courage, sympathy, joy, pleasure, fear, wisdom etc. The tale also

consists of a lot of action scenes such as celebration, party, serious meetings, escapades,

wars, infiltrations, battles, climax scenes. The fairy tale is meant for pure entertainment and

in future can be made into a very exciting television series or animated or real movie. The

several themes of the fairy tale can be matched with several popular fairy tales and movies

such as The Chronicles of Narnia, Tales related to Dragon, Talking animal etc. The main

theme of the fairy tale is the battle between good and evil in which I have shown the victory

of Good. The tale is also inspired by Asian mythological scripts written on the same primary

theme such as Ramayana and Mahabharata.

The introduction of the fairy tale is very much unique as it describes the happenings and the

reactions that involve a lot of changes. The coming of the evil queen, death of the king and

the running away of the girl suggests a lot of changes. The mystical forest and the grateful

talking creatures create a bit of fantasy and unrealism. The meeting of prince and princess

displays some romance and love. The dragon part where the prince alone battles the dragon is

a scene of pure valour that is typically shown in many movies as well as fairy tales such as

Aragon. The end battle scene is one of the best fictional action scenes where everyone fights

to their maximum. Again critically engaging old and conventional fairy tales and themes the

whole tale focuses on the valour and courage as well as the fighting skills of the young

princess against the basic stereotypes that the females are fragile, helpless, obedient and not

strong enough to fight wars and defeat men.

The title "The Princess of Hope land" suits the fairy tale very well as the main theme of the

story is the battle for Hope land and the main role in the story or the heroine of the story is

the princess herself. The structure of the tale is sequential conveying a period of the battle

fought against the evil. The tale starts with the initial or the beginning part of the story

conveying how the evil queen came in power. The second section contains the incidents

related to the princess being helped by the talking creatures. The third section contains the

preparation for war done by both the sides the good as well as the evil. The third section also

consists that how the princess convinces as well as seduces the prince to join her in the battle.

The fourth section consists of the start of the battle and individual action sequence between

the prince and the dragon. The last structure or the end finish the battle in which the lion king

has a very important role to play. The last structure also contains the restoration of the throne

upon the princess and royal wedding and celebrations.

I have tried my level best to rhyme the fairy tale and its sentences as much as possible to

make it very enjoyable to read as well as recite. The words and the sentences are very simple

so that anyone can easily understand as well as translate it into any other language as well as

a cultural form. I have used both direct as well as indirect speech in the script as sometimes

important things needs to be conveyed through dialogues. I have tried my best to add rhyme

to all the directions as well as indirect speeches to make it very fun and entertaining to recite

and read. The language used in fairly tales makes it very much understandable for all the

ages. I have used short as well as medium-sized sentences to convey all the content as the use

of very long sentences makes any fairy tale or long story boring as well as complex to read.

The language used is very much informal and in rhyming pattern so that the fairy tale can be

converted into another form of writing such as movie scripts, poems, songs etc.
