As everyone knows , friend is someone in your life who you talk
to on a regular basis, share your feelings with, and they return
the favor. Friend will always support us .
Richard develops a friendship with Hannah .
 Richard’ s belief was to be friend with anybody regardless
of their nationality had made him to react according to his
principles .
 Richard’ s support and friendship with Hannah had caused
him to defer his friendship with other classmates .
 Mr. Hansen bought a sympathy card and ask everyone to
sign it to show sympathy . However , the whole class did
not sign the card except Richard .
 Richard firm with his principles and he was the only who
signed the sympathy card and sent it to Hannah’ s house .
