Lesson Intro (What will you say to get the students’ attention, communicate the lesson objectives, and motivate students to achieve them?):
Today we are rounding out our tennis unit with a double elimination tournament. This means, you can get two losses before you are eliminated for the
tournament and for the opportunity to get a free PE make up. Since there are 14 groups, we will be having two separate tournaments just like we have been
for the entirety of this unit. I will tell you who you are playing and I will ask who won at the end of time and record the results.

acceptable):
1. students will listen, follow along, and put in their best effort during the 1. informal observation
warm up as they are building endurance for their fitness testing
2. students will put the skills they have learned and practiced together to play 2. informal observation & rating scale
