RESUMEN
ABSTRACT
An ultraviolet and visible spectrophotometry analysis (UV-Vis) was performed to determine the
concentration of Fe (II) in a commercial ferrous sulfate sample. A solution of ammonium iron (II) sulfate
((NH4) 2Fe (SO4) 2 * 12H2O) at 1.8312 * 10-3 M in 1,10-phenanthroline was used as standard and was
analyzed in the range of 400- 620 nm, the experimental conditions were 0.996 atm and between 18-22 ° C,
in the same way, the results of the amount of Fe2 + present in the sample, did not give indexes of accuracy
to the naked eye, thus, it was concluded, that The analysis carried out is framed by the occurrence of
systematic errors, which determined these results during the analytical process.
