-Immigration: Language Differences

2. What was your topic about? What was your position (belief) about the topic. Give pertinent
details. Explain #2 in a paragraph or less. If you have changed your topic, explain it here.

My topic is about Immigration with the diversity of languages that is is United States. My
position about the topic is that Native English speakers should accept and support people who do
not speak English or are learning English, because we are in a full country of cultural diversity,
knowing that more than one language gives you a lot of opportunities to be more successful, and
also language offers new insights into our history. I will change my topic to Diversity of
Languages, because I think it's more concrete.

3. Describe the type of project you plan to complete in complete sentences. Will you teach?
Make a video to share with others? Volunteer?
My plan is to make poster at school and everyone at school can write at least in word in their
languages, also I am going to take videos of them saying any word that I will put in English and
they are going to say it but in their languages, and the last but not the least I'm going to do Commented [1]: maybe they could also write it on a
community hours translating children who are learning English. whiteboard

it, and give them strength to never give up.
d. At the end of your hours, how will YOU know you helped this community? How will
you measure this? 2-3 sentences.

At the end I will know if I helped this community by knowing how some people
are going to feel more confident of themselves and less intimidated by the
language.

I will do have a mentor. Commented [2]: Who is your mentor?
