Daya Eco Techno Sdn. Bhd. Is located at Taman Mount Austin, Johor Bahru, Johor.

Nature of company business/activities

Daya Eco Techno Sdn. Bhd. Operating in a modest scale. It have successfully complete many
environment projects in electroplatting, chemical, textile, food based, oleochemicals, and painting
works industries.

Objective of the project/training

The objective of the training are to ensure trainee will be able :

1. To conduct task given.

2. To produce report for project involvement.
3. To familiar with company job scope.

Explanation on trainee's involvement in the project/training.

For six months industrial manship programme, trainee had been involved in audit, wastewater
monitoring and industrial effluent case study. For audit, trainee had followed auditor to several
factories in Johor to conduct audit. Before trainee went to the company, trainee had to prepared the
Checklist for the particular company based on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report that been
approved by Director of Department of Environment (DOE). During the session, trainee been exposed on
audit activities such as identify chamber, observe the situation at work place, and had experienced
meeting with client manager regarding the raised matter of the audit activities. After conducted the
audit sessions, trainee had to produce a report relating to client situation.

Waste water monitoring involved every week at different place in Johor. Trainee had followed in charge
person to client company. Trainee been exposed to waste water treatment plant including batch and
continuous. During this activities, trainee had to dealt with Human Resources (HR) department to sent
the Purchase Order and received Delivery Order. Instead of that, trainee assisted person in charge to
took sampling and sent those sample to laboratories.

Industrial effluent case study involved three working days. For first attempt, in charge person with
trainee had went to client company. This session required eight hours working straight where sample
needs to be taken for every hour. Every hour had to noted the flowrate and ph level indicator. Trainee
had to took waste water sample at several location in factory area. After conducted the activities for
three days straight, trainee had to produced report that needs to be submitted to client company after
been reviewed by company supervisor.
As a conclusion, trainee had involved with major company business for this six months period and
gained useful experienced.

Conclusion / Recommendation

I personally will recommend Daya Eco Techno Sdn. Bhd. to UniKL Student especially those whom taking
major in Environment to gain wonderful experience and knowledge especially in schedule waste and
waste water monitoring. Student will conduct a real job assist by experience employee until job is done
and produce report after being review with the company supervisor. As a conclusion, Daya Eco Techno
Sdn. Bhd. is a great platform to initiate career with industries.
