Harker realizes that Dracula only keeps him alive to finish the real estate
transaction.
Harker escapes from the castle to a convent in the countryside in Hungary for his
recovery.... Meanwhile, back in England, the fiancée of Harker, receives three
proposals of marriage in the same day by three friends: she accepts Arthur.
Van Helsing realizes there's a vampire involved. He's a scientist and doctor, but
he's also well versed in ancient superstitions and philosophy, so he knows what to
do to kill vampires. Even after giving her multiple blood transfusions, they are not
able to save Lucy, and she dies. But Van Helsing knows he's not really dead. The
four men enter their tomb and catch the vampire Lucy returning from a raid on the
neighboring town. They stab her in the heart and cut off her head to make sure
she's dead.
Mina finally hears from Jonathan and goes to Budapest to pick him up. They marry
in the convent where they are recovering from their sickness and return to
England. Mina has to hide in the hospital office while the men are going to hunt
vampires. Unfortunately, Renfield knows about Dracula and invites him to the
building (vampires can't come in unless they've been invited, so don't go inviting
any vampires to your homes), and he starts drinking Mina's blood. The men return
in time to find it being nourished by the strength of the blood of Dracula.
The case is now extremely urgent — if they don't catch and kill Dracula quickly,
Mina will become a vampire as Lucy did. Dracula leads them to a spectacular
chase back to Transylvania, where they finally catch him and kill him. Mina is
saved, and everyone lives happily ever after. Except Quincey Morris, who is
stabbed during the final bout.
