INTRODUCTION

Technology can be expressed as tools and resources of useful information at the fingertips.
Technology today has been made possible for discovery of many functional and utility devices
such as smartwatches and smart phones. This revolution has been running in our daily lives
in all sectors, regardless of what industry you are dealing with, it has an impact in an
unquestionable manner. It can be considered as the main contribution or application in
industries to solve complex work/problems.

Currently, technology is widely used in many businesses. To ensure that the business stays
competitive, the person involved uses technology to create new products and service, deliver
the products to the customers on time and within budget or in another term, an innovation. To
illustrate, the mobile phone companies which are extremely advanced nowadays are Apple and
Samsung. These mobile empires create new smartphones and other electronic gadgets and
devices by using high-end technology in order to stay competitive.

On the other hand, technologies has been commonly used in engineering industries.
Engineering technology often meets with many of the same general areas such as design or
development areas. However, the focus is more on the practical application than on science.
As the whole life expectancy worldwide has raised, the universal community is now facing
new challenges of improving the quality of life at a lower cost. This is an important challenge
to flourish the areas of especially rural and the country-side in order to provide utmost quality
living to all. Hence, engineering should be acknowledged entirely and able to deliver a strong
understanding with vivid visions in purpose for people to attract to it as a profession.

DISCUSSION

Current technologist challenges

To incorporate technology into science and daily life can be quite a challenge. In the field of
engineering technologist for economic sustainability, the challenges are to mingle technologies
and scientific-systems that can accommodate global commerce, enhance technological
innovations and entrepreneurship, and assist in creating jobs, while reducing environmental
effects and efficiently resources usage. There has been reports on the need to expand new
energy sources, as well as avoiding the deterioration of the environment. For instance, the
betterment of clean energy. They identified sunshine as a source of environmentally friendly
power, bathing the Earth with more energy each hour than the planet's population consumes
annually. But to capture that power and converting it into something beneficial and then storing
it posed a challenge. They need to capture only one part in 10,000 of the sunlight that falls on
the Earth to meet 100% of our energy needs. In relation to clean energy is clean water, which
is in seriously in shortage of supply in many regions across the world. New technologies for
desalinating sea water may be helpful, but small-scale technologies for local water purification
may be even more effective for personal needs.

Technologists Achievement

The modern technology has brought its advantages and opportunities for the better and
relatively faster world for everyone. Technologist experts has successfully invented an
application on smartphones where people can download food at their fingertips. For example,
Domino’s Pizza launched an app for their consumer to get the goods faster. The app is
powered by artificial intelligence, trained in-house to recognize all breeds of pizza from a
homemade pie to a cartoonish dog toy and this is the first time that a technology like this
being used by the company. This has increases the profit and sales for Domino’s which is
a great achievement for the company as well as the technologist who invented it. Besides
that, a greater technology invented is the Wireless technologies capable of detecting and
treating the earliest signs of disease that can prevent the leading cause of fatality. These devices
help patients manage their own chronic conditions more effectively will dramatically improve
their quality of life while reducing the demand for more advanced treatments. The new
Nanotechnology is fulfilling medical science’s need for more precise treatments that are less
invasive, less costly, and less complicated to administer than traditional methods. That
translates into better patient outcomes, lower healthcare costs, and wider access to healthcare
services in under-resourced parts of the world.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, technology has helped many people in making their lives easier. The technology
keeps on growing and experienced many improvements over the year to meet the demand.
There are many obstacles need to be faced by the technologist as the year passes. For instance,
the challenge that concern the technologists is to provide new energy by sunlight power as well
as in medical concerns. The technologists need to innovate and improve the tools, materials as
well as processes in order to achieve success. Apart from that, technologists have also made
great achievements in inventing new technology in regard to the convenience of the people in
terms of medication, environment and lifestyle.
