INTRODUCTION

Semiconduct P&N Sdn. Bhd. which is our company which the mission
to provide semicondoctor product to the customers besides ensuring a good
after sales services to them while the vision of our company is to become the
Malaysia’s leading semiconductor manufacturing company.
Our company is one of the leading Asian manufacturers of
semiconductors used in a broad range of electronics applications. During its
rapid rise to prominence in the late 2005s, Semiconduct P&N Sdn. Bhd. gained
a reputation as perhaps the most efficient producer of semiconductors in
Malaysia, turning out a wide array of standardized, reliable parts at very low
cost. In the meantime the company business continued to boom. sales for 2015
rearched RM 50 billion in two years. The company employed 40,000 workers.
Recently, the company's profit has dropped in the past four months. The
problem has caused a lot of questioning in the management team. Therefore, we
planned to take another step to solve the problem. After the investigation, we
found the production of the company to be lower than the production of the
standard. We also take the next step by conducting a production line survey. The
results showed that many of the workers complained about the lighting
brightness that affected production during the night shift. To further explore the
details of the above issue, we sent technical engineer to check the problem and
solve it with a suitable solution without spending too much on it.
After discussion, the best plan is to replace the current light type with
the other light model. Our report's main objective is to find an appropriate
replacement for the old current light type.
 Basically, our equipment for on-site services are large in size and the
semiconductor that we sell are very sensitive to the ambient conditions such as
high temperature, intense vibration and internal oscillation and moisture due to
raining or high humidity. This is because we have used lot of sensors which are
sensitive to the surroundings in order to provide our consumers with automatic
trigger air-conditioners that will turn on at certain suitable conditions after
detecting the changes in the ambient conditions. Under the usual circumstances,
our air-conditioners will not have any problem. However, due to old suspension
system of our transport during the on-site services, many flaw occurs in our air-
conditioners.
Recently, many cases of vehicle breakdown have happened in our
company. Transportation is a very crucial part of the company since many of
the on-site services provide by our company need transport. Stoller Tech Sdn.
Bhd., an air conditioning company that focuses on developing good air
conditioning system for the customers and provide excellent after sales
services. The earlier mentioned problem has caused a lot of havoc in the
company in terms of expenditure, customer complaints, late arrival of on-site
services and et cetera. Therefore, we have planned to purchase a new vehicle to
replace our old vehicles that have bothered our company performance. To
further dig into the details of the issue above, our vehicles comprise of lorries
that are already very old and are lacked of maintenance. The method that we
use is internet research or arm-chair research’s method to determine the suitable
lorries that able to fulfill our company utmost requirements. We will compare a
few models of lorries in terms of their specification that will able to meet the
company’s requirements. The comparison will allow us to see specifically
which part can really help in our on-site services.
The main objective of our report is to find a suitable replacement for the
old lorries in the company. All the related lorries especially Hino and Isuzu
brands lorries are compared to obtain the best lorry that the company require.
