COMPLIANCE SHEET

SPECIFICATION OF CURRENT INTERRUPTER 100 AMP

Description Comply Specify if any Remarks

(Yes/No) Deviation
Pulse Switcher/Current Interrupter

 The GPS timed current interrupters shall be required for recording interrupted
cycles of current, voltage readings when coupled with DC-Source (Transformer-
Rectifier or Thermo Electric Generators) during Cathodic Protection Surveys on
buried pipelines.

 The Current Interrupter shall exhibit fully automated current interruption program,
precision clock timing even with an intermittent view of the GPS satellites.

 Essentially fitted with Solid-state (non-polarity dependent) relay with no unit

orientation or polarity concerns to avert short -circuiting of the device.

Technical Data:

Current Rating: 100 Amps at (12,000 watts) external relay

Max working voltage: 170 VDC (either polarity), 120 V rms (50/60 Hz)

Voltage Drop: 1 mV per Amps suitable for interrupting low voltage

bonds and anodes

Isolation to Ground: 2000 Volts

Overload Protection: 75kW (10/100s); 500kW (8/20s) 1.2kA peak @

clamp voltage. Auto thermal shutdown at 105 deg C.
