The event which is called as Open day, was organized in the faculty premises on 2nd November 2017
and that day, the faculty was opened for the few selected schools to get the idea about the faculty and
what is happened in the faculty. So, for this event, the arrangement of the Civil and Environmental
Engineering laboratories was done by the CEES. So, the spaghetti bridge competition of school category
was also conducted by the CEES at the structural laboratory on the same day with open day event. The
selected nine groups from nine schools in Galle area were participated for the competition.
