Non-Political Revolutions

Throughout the 16th-18th century, two non-political revolutions changed the

world into a new era as we see today. The Scientific Revolution and the
Enlightenment left many people in awe after switching from an ordered perception
of dictatorship by one, to then, a revolutionized way for the people of all classes to
have a say in. Absolute monarchy was a vast role that was abolished in Europe to
form a government of three branches. Though, before this happened it was first
logic and reason than, the beliefs of a church that influenced the independence of
our intellectual beliefs we now have with the help of how the world works. With
these non-political revolutions, it brought a changed impact to societies and
fairness to the people.
Now, before the belief of what science is today, the churches of
communities and the people who worshipped bowed to “one way” of what they
believed was persistently true. Suddenly, in the 16th century, things started to
evolve into a belief that there was something beyond the ordinary definitions and
discovered the way our world worked (as we now know as astronomy), and human
anatomy. Religion was no longer a priority to the people because fact was proven
which disproved what they once worshipped. This was only the start to a new era
in Europe-The invention of the Gutenberg press led to others teaching themselves
to read and write. The king's power to absolute monarchy was no more, and the
clergy’s power went down as science went up because of the astronomy and
human anatomy of people was more of a reason with fact than the religious beliefs
they were traditional about. It was soon after, that a one ruling king was looked to
being abolished and The Scientific Revolution was spoken upon leading up to The
Enlightenment in the 17th century.
Human rights took a wide toll on political input when the power of one
branch government (being absolute monarchy), which, was a ruler of one and only
a king, was simply not a way people wanted anymore. Future outcome to The
Enlightenment were human rights, political reform, and government branches that
we use to this day was a revolutionized time many made. Thomas Jefferson was
third president in the times of the United States that made a movement to the
Declaration of Independence to give people human rights that they so rightly
wanted after absolute monarchy, along with, the U.S. Constitution. The existing
three branches of government known as, Legislative, Executive, and Judicial
courthouses, are represented as a democracy so the people have a voice and a
difference than the one branch of government. This movement was solely based on
the protection of human rights to America, and order to what citizens wanted, with
the help of a movement so revolutionized that to present day, society followed a
political reform that we look back on now as The Enlightenment from Europe to
America.
Europe alone non-politically revolutionized society to what it is today by
historic ways. From logic and reason by Galileo, to absolute monarchy being
abolished, and the vary of other ways, America is influenced politically,
religiously, and scientifically to this day.

Cover letter
I’m Nya Rodriguez in the Global History & Geography
class of Ms. Fried, and today I will present the two non-political
revolutions that impacted society from the 16th-18th century in
Europe, and how it relates to present day America. Honestly, I
like global if I’m trying to learn new information and history
about the world because Ms. Fried does teach us a lot to make
sure we are ready for yea the regents but, also so we remember
what we’re learning outside of school. So overall, I like the way
she teaches and that I learn new information. I think feeding the
young mind is important to growing up so we have much to
know when we get sent off into the real world of college and
even after as well.
