Procedure Process for Glass Bottle Chandelier/Hanging Bulbs

1. Preparation of Materials
The direct materials needed in the production of Chandelier/hanging bulbs shall be

glass/wine bottles, scrap metals, plywood, bulbs, socket and wire and wood screws.

Indirect materials such as bolt, glass cutter shall also be part of the product.

2. Filling of Bottles

Glass bottles shall be washed, after washing the glass bottles it shall be exposed to

direct sunlight and kept in a dry place.

3. Glass Cutting

Place each wine bottle upright on a flat, even surface. Use glass cutting tool to score the

perimeter of the bottle. Once completely score heat the line that you made. You can use a

small candle or butane torch. When you have spent around 3-5 minutes heating the bottle,

dip the end you are breaking off in cold water. Simply repeat the process of heating the

bottle and dipping in cold water until it snaps. Use a rough sandpaper to clean off the

edges of the glass.

4. Shape Your Wooden/Metal Base

Cut wood plank to size depending on the desired length of your wine bottle

chandelier and drill a holes for the bottles. But the base is metal, weld the scrap

metals in the desired shape. Test the fit of your bottles to ensure that they fit firmly.

5. Add the necessary electrical wiring

Cut lamp wire with wire cutters into for the proper span needed between the socket

and the junction box which each socket will be screwed into. Attach each end of the

wire to the corresponding positive or negative screw located inside each socket

using screwdriver. Repeat this step for all wine bottles.


6. Ensure the fitting of the socket and bulb to the glass bottles.

Insert light bulb into socket and ensure a level fit by placing sockets up inside of

each of the bottles. Repeat this step for all wine bottles.

7. Assembly of the Bottles into the Wooden/ Metal Base

Assemble all the bottles carefully to the wooden/metal base and set the wires in place.

Procedure Process for Glass Bottles Vases/Holders

1. Preparation of Materials
The direct materials needed in the production of glass bottle vase/holder shall be glass

bottle, paint or spray paint, glue and other decorating materials. Indirect materials such as

glass cutter, scissors etc. shall also be part of the product.

2. Filling of Bottles

Glass bottles shall be washed, after washing the glass bottles it shall be exposed to

direct sunlight and kept in a dry place.

3. Glass Cutting

Place glass bottle upright on a flat, even surface. Use glass cutting tool to score the

perimeter of the bottle. Once completely score heat the line that you made. You can use a

4. Decorating the Vase/holder

Use a paint to give life to the bottle and use different decorating materials to make unique

design.
Procedure Process for Glass Bottles Wind Chimes
1. Preparation of Materials
The direct materials needed in the production of glass bottle wind chimes shall be
glass bottles/wine bottle, jewelry chain, key rings, wooden wheel and pendant.
Indirect materials such as glass cutter, scissors etc. shall also be part of the product.
2. Filling of Bottles
Glass bottles shall be washed, after washing the glass bottles it shall be exposed to
direct sunlight and kept in a dry place.
3. Glass Cutting

Place glass bottle upright on a flat, even surface. Use glass cutting tool to score the

perimeter of the bottle. Once completely score heat the line that you made. You can

use a small candle or butane torch. When you have spent around 3-5 minutes heating

the bottle, dip the end you are breaking off in cold water. Simply repeat the process of

heating the bottle and dipping in cold water until it snaps. Use a rough sandpaper to

clean off the edges of the glass.

4. Place the first key ring

Lay the chain next to the bottle so that about 2” of the chain extends pas the bottom

cut end of the bottle. Attach the key ring to a chain. The key ring should just hang

gracefully. Line up the key at approximately the point on the bottle neck where it will

end up.

5. Thread your wooden wheel onto the nylon.

This wheel should be narrow enough to fit, diameter-wise, inside the widest part of

the bottle but wide enough to actually be able to hit the glass wall and make the

chime sound. Lift the wooden wheel about 1”-2” up from the bottom cut end of the

bottle.

6. Attach the pendant at the bottom of the jewelry chain.


Turn the bottle upside down and thread the top of your jewelry chain into the bottle,

down through the neck. Grasp the chin and gently flip the bottle over.
