Important Instructions for Candidates

1. Candidates must carry with them their Identity Authentication document (mentioned above as Identification type) along with this Admit Card
failing which entry in the Examination Center/Hall shall not be allowed. Candidates are advised to report at the center at least 60 minutes
before the commencement of the examination.No entry in the examination centre shall be permitted after commencement of the examination.
2. Candidates must affix self attested recent passport size photograph matching with the one uploaded in the online application, on the space
provided above before entering in the test hall.
3. Candidates should use only Blue/Black Ball Point Pen for filling up the particulars on Test Booklet, OMR Sheet and Attendance Sheet. Use of
pencil is strictly prohibited and not permitted in any case.
4. Candidates should go through the instructions given on the Test Booklet carefully.
5. Candidates should sit only on the allotted seats. Candidates must see their details on the Desk Slip before occupying the seat. The seats
allotted to candidates who are absent should be left vacant.
6. Candidates are not allowed to carry any text material, printed or written, piece of paper, calculators, slide rules, log tables, pager, mobile
phones and other electronic devices except the Admit Card and Black/Blue Pen inside the examination hall/room. Therefore, candidates are
advised not to bring aforesaid prohibited items/ personal belongings while coming for the examinations as they will have to leave them outside
the premises of Examination Centre at their own risk and the examination centre shall not be responsible in case the items are lost / stolen.
Frisking of candidates will be done at the entry point of the Examination Center.
7. Candidates should neither fold the OMR Sheet nor make any stray marks on it. Candidates are not allowed to make corrections. Use of white
fluid, blade, eraser on the OMR Sheet is strictly prohibited.
8. Candidate can take with him/her the question booklet and carbon copy of the OMR answer sheet after the test is over.
9. Impersonation, obliteration of OMR answer sheet/ Test booklet, use of unfair means shall lead to cancellation of the candidature over & above
other suitable action(s) against the candidate.

10. Candidates found copying or resorting to any unfair means including giving/receiving help to /from any candidate during the test or violating any
conditions of test will be summarily disqualified. Such candidates will also forfeit all claims for admission in the University in future.
11. Candidates should maintain complete silence during the examination and communication in any form between candidates or with outsiders will
be treated as unfair means.
12. Candidates may approach the Centre Superintendent in case of any difficulty and should abide by his/her instructions and decisions. Complaints,
if any, regarding the examination should be given in writing to the centre Superintendent of the centre.
13. Candidates must note that their admission to the test is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the admit card has been issued does not imply
that the candidature has been finally accepted by the University or that the entries made in online application for test have been accepted by BHU
as true and correct. It may also be noted that the University will take up the verification of eligibility conditions i.e. age, educational qualifications
and category (i.e. SC/ST/OBC/Physically challenged/Sports Quota/Employee ward etc.) with reference to original documents only at the time of
counseling.
14. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the closure of the test.
15. In the examination hall, candidates will have to write their Roll Number, Question Booklet Series, center code, question booklet number, set
number, course & subject, category, etc. in the area provided in the OMR Answer sheet and blacken/darken the corresponding circle(s). The
candidates are also required to make relevant entries on verification sheet as well.
16. Candidates are also advised to check only BHU’s entrance test portal (www.bhuonline.in) regularly for updates on entrance test related
information, declaration of results, counselling schedules, etc. They may also check their mail box on the registered E-mail address and SMS in
their registered Mobile No. for latest updates and information, if any.
17. THIS ADMIT CARD MUST BE RETAINED TILL ADMISSION.
