The Heritage and Wakefield choral spring concert was one of the best concerts ever put
on. The concert had a variety of songs and themes, that overall created a musical message that
The strongest portion of the choral concert was when the Unison Consort Singers were
singing “Please Stay” by Jake Runestad. I say this because the vocalization and harmination of
sopranos, altos, bases and teners created a sound that filled the entire room. The song was
emotional, and every word sung in the song left a message of unity and a plea for happiness.
Along with that, another strong section of the concert was when the combined choirs sung
“Someday Is Today” by Niel Lorenz and Andre Thomas. That song was sung so beautifully and
strong. Every singer knew their notes and sungout. This, and many more places, are the strongest
The weakest portion of the choral concert was when Heritage Singers were singing. Their
songs had strong and powerful messages, however, the blend and voicing of the songs were
unpleasing and very pitchy. The singer seemed unprepared and not ready to sing. They could

pleasing.
What i enjoyed the most about the concert was when Unison Consort Singers, Heritage
Singers, Wakefield Voices, and Heritage Treble Choir sung together. It conveyed the idea of

unity and positivity. The songs that we sung were really strong and also conveyed multiple
messages. It shows how everyone can come together and do what they do the best.
According to parents, the songs sung by Heritage Treble Choir were phenomenal and
wonderful. Also stated, was that “This Is Me”by Jenj Pasek and Justin Paul needed to have been
sung way better. It was, according to parents, the least favorite song in the program. Although
this is the case, the concert was a success and will forever be remembered by everyone who
attended.
To conclude, the choral performance titled, “Our World, Our Time, Our Song” was a
very interesting and diverse concert imparting the multiple aspects and types of choral music in
society. The performances by Unison Consort Singers, Heritage Singers, Wakefield Voices, and
Heritage Treble Choir were overall deemed as exceptional and remarkable. These choirs used
amazing vocal techniques such as facial expression, proper body alignment, articulation, and
