Notice: When you migrate into the DXC environment, you may experience a Skype
outage up to 4-6 hours the morning of your migration. IT is aware and working on
resolution to minimize Skype outage on migration day.

Be prepared the morning of your scheduled migration day

The morning of your IT services migration, log in to your PC as usual
That morning, you will not be able to access email on your PC for a period of time.
You may eventually see an Outlook popup prompting you to sign in with your @csc.com
account details. At this point, you must complete your PC and IT services migration
(steps below) before you can regain access to email, Skype and OneDrive on your PC:

Entering your @csc.com account details in the above popup will not work.
During your migration, you can access email, calendar and OneDrive by visiting
portal.office.com on another device and signing in with your @dxc.com email address
and Global Pass password
At this point, you must complete your PC and IT services migration before you can
access email, Skype or OneDrive on your PC. Not sure if your PC will migrate?

Look up your scheduled migration date

What to do if you cannot complete migration on your scheduled migration date

Run the PC Migration Precheck tool if you have not completed your precheck yet
Skip this step if you have successfully run the precheck tool. If your precheck
completed successfully, you will see the DXC Migration tool icon on your desktop
(see next row)
The PC Migration Precheck tool will scan your PC to ensure it is ready for
migration
Complete any required actions to prepare your PC for migration
You will be unable to migrate your PC until the PC Migration Precheck tool
successfully passes all checks.
Follow the steps to run the PC Migration Precheck tool

If your precheck is complete, run the DXC PC Migration tool

After your PC passes the Precheck, the PC Migration Precheck tool will be
automatically replaced with the DXC PC Migration tool on your desktop
Run the DXC Migration tool after you see the Outlook popup (see top row above) on
your scheduled migration day
For most users, the PC migration will take about an hour or two and will include
several reboots, so plan to stay close to your PC
You do not need to be on a DXC site to complete migration. However, if you are
connected to the CSC network using VPN such as F5 Big-IP Edge Client, you must
close this connection while running the migration tool.

The way you sign in to your PC, sites and tools will be different
Going forward, log in to your PC using your full @dxc.com email address and Global
Pass password each time you sign in
Now that your primary email address is @dxc.com, you will use that address along
with your Global Pass password (and sometimes MFA) to sign in to DXC tools and
sites that used to accept your @csc.com address, like SharePoint and other
Office365 tools.
You may experience issues accessing applications in the DXC environment including
SharePoint sites, Workday, PPMC, for 24-48 hours after your migration while your
new email address replicates across the environment.
If you experience issues logging in to Workplace, do not create a new Workplace
account. Instead, email the workplace support team at workplace@dxc.com to report
the issue.
Exception for Concur (travel site): The way you access Concur will temporarily
follow a different process after your migration.
