Introduction

People expand their interest to study the further something interesting and easily to
understand and relate with. But there has a lack of interest about the fields of history to
attempting to study the growth and development of a local history. In this way through
search of information and knowledge on what happen, what is happening and what will
happen their surroundings. We find out if what happen when we invade of the colony, what
way they doing to survive and what way to achieve the freedom of the Filipinos.

Local studies do not only cover the local history and the past, and also include the
present and the future information about the locality. The local studies cover local
environment in all its aspects, and term of all human activity within the that environment,
past, present, and future. (Malolos 2018) The approaches on local history changed through
time. The local history before, is limited only the three approaches.

Poblacion East is the one of the Barangays in the municipality of Science City of
Muñoz. In which the total land area is 679,927 and 67.99 hectares and 2000 population.
And the Filipinos who live in these barangay is so hardworking and all of them is a business
minded even its all about the agriculture in which it is the one of the source of their income.
And the way they communicate

We need to know if what happen in this barangay. While the concept of

information, specifically local studies, change from time to time, the concept of treating
these information changes as well, not only libraries are involved in this paradigm shift but
also other institution such as documentation, and later on the local studies center.

Every city or country hold different story to be told they might be bigger and greater
or just plain and simple but still its our history to uphold. History is a visit to the past, a
passage, it is also the stepping stone of the future because history is where it all began.
History can significe a lot of things like what we can learn from our past mistakes, to start
a new and better life, free from any problem. There are a lot of important event that happen
way back before that we need to learn from. Some people might ask why do we need to
know our history, this question often occur to the new generatin. Because people now a
days do not have the same mind set like before, that give importance to our history.
Historian contribute a lot of things in this industry and they do it by writting their own
context of history. Through the document they have written we can learn and understand
our past. We can improve things or change it in order to prevent the bad things that happens
before. We can learn from our previous mistakes and use it as our own advantage in the
future.
