 Angstrom The Angstrom A2 Fuel Cell Flashlight is a highly-advanced LED flashlight
powered by a proprietary Angstrom fuel cell. The fuel cell runs on hydrogen fuel
stored in the handle of the flashlight and air from the surrounding environment. No
A2 Fuel batteries are required.
Cell Flashlight
The flashlight incorporates on-board hydrogen storage in a proprietary metal
hydride system, a high-brightness Luxeon LED, and an On / Off switch with stand-
by mode. The Luxeon LED produces white light with 10X the brightness of similar
LEDs for the same amount of power. The flashlight casing is made from sturdy
machined aircraft aluminum.

The A2 Flashlight can be refueled using compressed hydrogen. The Angstrom

R1 Refueling Station provides economical refueling from standard sources of
compressed hydrogen. Future A2 models can also be refueled in the field using a
portable cartridge.
