The A119/AW119MKII is a high-speed-performance, multi-purpose helicopter powered by a single Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6B-37A
engine, with:

— four-bladed, fully articulated main rotor.

— Titanium/composite main rotor head with elastomeric bearings

— Two-bladed tail rotor.

— Skid landing gear.

The helicopter is designed to fulfill many roles, which include transport of personnel, equipment and cargo.
It may also be used for aerial supply and rescue operations. Optional equipment may be fitted for specific missions (ambulance duties,
transport of 1 or 2 litters, etc).
The airframe consists of two major assemblies: the forward fuselage and the aft fuselage (tail boom).
The forward fuselage comprises the nose section, the cabin and the rear section.
The nose section includes a compartment for the electrical and electronic equipment, and the forward skid landing gear attachment.

The cabin includes the crew compartment (cockpit) and the passenger compartment. A hinged door, on both sides of the cabin,
permits direct access to the cockpit, and a large sliding door is located on both sides of the cabin for access to the passenger
compartment.
Seating is provided for the pilot (right side) and a passenger (or copilot) in the cockpit and six passengers in the relevant compartment.
The rear section accommodates the fuel tanks. The rear skid landing gear attachment, the baggage compartment and the electric and
electronic equipment compartments.
The upper deck, located above and aft of the cabin area, accommodates the hydraulic system reservoirs and filter groups, the main
transmission, the main transmission and engine oil cooler and the relevant fan, and the engine.
The upper deck is enclosed by removable fairings and cowlings.
The tail boom is bolted to the forward fuselage and supports the tail rotor and the relevant drive system. The tail boom includes the
