characteristics that make for a good quality teacher and are evident through the

unique situations that a teacher encounters throughout their school day. When

asked to provide my Professional disposition statement I refer to what I have

witnessed and experienced through my teaching encounters. I believe as I teacher

should provide opportunities that give equitable learning to all my students. Which

simply means that I demonstrate no sign of bias, lack of fairness, or prejudice. I

hold every student to a high expectation and enable students to reach their full

potential. An effective planner and great classroom organization so that classroom

instruction and learning is maximized is another disposition I believe that should

display as a teacher. Understanding and valuing diversity is to me a key deposition

that I should have when teaching my students. When thinking about Professional

dispositions allot of characteristics come to mind but the last one, I want to

mention is that I should be able to obtain lifelong learning and personal growth

through my on reflection. I hauled be able to seek and want constructive feedback

and have that willingness to learned from experiences and from others.

My self-assessments supports my professional disposition statement

because they relaying the same thing. They both share the characteristics that

should be displayed by a professional successful teacher. I can honestly say I have

grown from the time I have started my program of study to now tremendously.

When first starting my program I was not aware of all that went into lesson

planning. This journey has been very interesting, exciting, and overwhelming at the

same time. When first being my field experience I was nervous and never

interacted with eh students just really sat in the back of my mentor’s classroom

and observed her and the students. I think I was nervous because I didn't want to

say the wrong thing or not be sure of what I was saying to the students. After

growing through this program I am active when it comes to students teaching. I

move around the classroom, answer questions, and work with groups. I can

honestly say I am not as nervous as I use to and the classroom feels like my second

home. I am not perfect but know with more hands working in the classroom and

more teaching opportunities I will become the teacher I am working to be.
