Goal #2:
My goal is to become more effective
in classroom management. I believe
that one of the most critical aspects of
being a teacher, besides the welfare
and education of our students, is
classroom management. A well-
managed classroom aids in the
creation of a safe learning
environment for students to thrive and
flourish. A set of expectations,
including a series of routines, rules,
and consequences encourages
students to remain on-task and is
more conducive to teaching.
I plan to achieve my goal by
2/9/2020. I have given myself a two-
year date to accomplish my goal as I
believe that I will need to spend time
in the classroom working with
different students to understand and
practice developing (and tweaking)
strategies to create effective routines
that are conducive to learning styles,
IEP goals, and the needs of students. I
will also attend a New Educator

My goal is to improve my time
management skills. Practical time
management skills will allow a more
productive day and a better education
for the students. Capably and
resourcefully utilizing time
management skills will provide
strategies to pare down the extensive
paperwork, establishing routines that
avoid wasting time and confusion,
plan exciting lessons, and increase
my teaching time.
I expect to accomplish my goal by
