ACCOMODATION AGREEMENT
This agreement is made on the day / /20

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 General Rules:
1. Residents are not permitted to accommodate more than the allowed number of persons in one room and neither
less than the specified room capacity. Resident's room allocation will be done by the ADMIN Dept.
2. Residents are not allowed to change rooms, without the Camp In charge& Admin Dept. Permission, and no
room keys will be given to the resident. A Numbering System will be followed in the Camp for all the rooms,
beds, and cupboards. All residents must follow the above.
3. It shall be the responsibility of the Resident to safeguard their personal belongings and valuables. It is not
advisable to leave valuables and money in the rooms. For the protection of the employee’s personal property,
you are provided with a locker and a set of keys. You have to lock it all times whenever you leave the room. In
case of a transfer, change of room, or visa cancellation, the Resident should return the keys to the Camp In
charge.
4. Residents are strictly prohibited from bringing any kind of pets inside the camp or the rooms and Canteen
building.
5. Only male Residents are permitted inside the accommodation at any time. Strictly no visitors & guests are
allowed in the camp & Canteen building.
6. Residents are responsible for maintaining their rooms clean, tidy & hygienic, and the garbage should be
disposed at the designated places, and no waste should be dumped or kept in the corridors. Littering the camp
areas in and around the accommodation is prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.
7. Shoes should be ONLY kept in the Shoe Racks provided by the Company outside the rooms.
8. In the interest of all residents, noise levels shall be kept to a minimum. Any activities creating excessive noise
in the vicinity of the sleeping quarters are forbidden.
9. Employees proceeding on leave or who will be transferred to another location/Camp should handover the room
and camp material issued to him in a good condition along with the locker's key. For Resigned and Terminated
employees, they should get clearance confirmation from the camp incharge before receiving final settlement
and deportation.
10. Employees joining back from the leave should first report to the Camp In charge before proceeding to their
room as there might be a change in room .Therefore it’s a must to get the confirmation before proceeding to the
room.

11. Residents are expected to behave with respect and consideration towards other residents/ coworkers. This
includes not using foul and abusive language, not using other residents' possessions without permission and
respecting the privacy of others.
12. AC/Lights should be turned off, whenever Resident leaves the room.
 Canteen:
13. Residents are not allowed to cook meals in their room. They are strictly prohibited from using gas stoves, ovens,
microwave ovens, fridges, kettles for cooking inside the room. Doing so will result in disciplinary action. Food
will be provided by the catering company and will be served in the Dining area ONLY. Residents are not
permitted to take their plates to their rooms.
14. Meals or any foodstuff, cutlery, glasses or other mess equipment shall not be removed from the dining hall.
Doing so will result in a warning from the Camp in Charge.
15. The catering company who will provide the food to the Employees will take into consideration the religious
and cultural backgrounds of Employees. Different choices of food will be served to employees daily. The daily
food menu will be announced in the Canteen.
16. Individual meal cards will be distributed to all employees and must be shown/used every time for meal
collection (for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).In case of Loosing or misplacing the Meal Card , the incident should
be reported to the Camp in charge/ADMIN Dept. immediately and the employee will be charged for the cost of
new card. Meal cards MUST be carried by employees at all meals time.
17. Employees will be provided with 3 meals per day (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner), with AED 250 Charges per
month.
18. Dining hours shall be strictly observed and meals shall not be served outside these hours.
19. All complaints regarding services performed and the food provided by the Catering Company shall be referred
to the Camp In charge/ADMIN Dept... Complaints shall not be made direct to the catering staff. Catering
employees shall not be insulted, provoked or in any other way prevented from carrying out their duties.
20. Meal cards to be handed over to Camp in charge/ ADMIN Dept. before the employee proceed on leave or upon
visa cancellation.
 First Aid and Medical Arrangement.
21. An adequate first aid and medical arrangement are provided, to cover the employees in the accommodation.
Trained and certified camp personnel are provided in the accommodation facilities that are available to deal
with any first aid or medical complaints.
22. A dedicated means of transport is provided to take any sick employees to hospital in the event that this is
required.
 Pest Control:
23. Pest control will be carried out in the accommodation on a periodic basis. Pest control Program, including the
frequency of visit will be maintained with ADMIN DEPT/Camp in Charge. Employees/Residents will be
notified in advance of each visit.
 Community Representatives:
24. Each community (Pakistani, Indians and Bengalis) will elect a Representative for their respective community,
who they will choose.
25. Those Community Representatives' responsibilities is to act as a link between ADMIN /Camp personnel and
the other employees/ residents of the accommodation.

26. Sport Committee will be established, each community will elect a representative to present them in the sport
committee. The Sport Committee in associating with Camp Personnel will be responsible for arranging
different sport activities for employees, which will be sponsored and supervised by the Company.
 Recreation Facilities:
27. Television areas are provided in the canteen building, (common areas), were employees can relax and watch
TV. Each nationality has a different TV room. Televisions are not allowed in the residents' room.
28. Every room is connected with ONT Box provided by Etisalat, were employees can directly avail internet
services from Etisalat. Only wireless connection is acceptable between rooms, and no internet cable connection
from room to room will be acceptable.
29. Grocery shop is provided in the canteen building to sell basic requirements to the workers.
30. The Camp In charge will take an active role in arranging activities for the workers.
 Firefighting equipment :
31. Firefighting equipment is strategically placed in the camps and shall only be used for its intended purpose.
The equipment is provided for the safety of residents. Any person found interfering with the fire
extinguishers or other firefighting equipment shall be removed from the camp immediately without
further warning. Any fire extinguisher that is discharged for any reason shall be brought to the attention of
the Camp in Charge immediately.
32. The residents shall not remove or tamper with smoke detectors fitted to rooms, and shall report any known
malfunction to the smoke detector immediately to the Camp In charge.
33. Due to the fire risk, residents must not use any items which may have naked flame or produce heat, for
examples: candles and oil lamps, etc.
 Health and Safety:
34. All Employees are expected to maintain a high standard of personal hygiene. Instances of illness, injury or
infectious disease whether real or suspected shall be reported immediately to the Camp In charge.
35. Residents shall not keep/store any dangerous or harmful materials in the rooms for any reason.
36. Employees MUST abide by the safety procedures established by the company. Any willful or negligent act
that endangers the safety of others will result in the immediate and permanent removal of the
resident/employee from the camp and Termination of Employment with the company.
37. Safety is every resident's responsibility and unsafe conditions or practices observed by the residents shall be
reported to the Camp In charge.
38. Under any circumstances the Company shall not be responsible for any personal injuries suffered by the
Resident due to any breach of safety procedures established by the Company.
 Security Arrangement:
39. There will security guards available 24 hours a day on the access points to the camp. Security guards should
take reasonable steps to ensure that banned goods such as, Alcohol is not brought onto the Camp/Canteen
building.
40. Security guards are trained in the emergency procedures and are to play a key role in ensuring workers are
evacuated from the facility in an emergency.
41. Identification cards MUST be carried by employees at all times and to be shown whenever requested by the
Security personnel or Camp In charge.

42. All persons entering or leaving the camp must submit to a routine inspection of luggage or other parcels at
the request of security guards or Camp in charge. Any employee who will refuse the inspection will face
disciplinary action.
43. Any vehicles entering or leaving the camp area is also subject to inspection. Refusal to allow such inspection is
grounds for immediate and permanent removal from the camp and disciplinary action.
44. Workers Tools to be left at the factory or work site, no tools to be brought to the camp/ canteen building, if
employees found doing so, they will be subject to disciplinary action.
45. Jumping FZ Fence is strictly prohibited; any person found doing so will be subject to a disciplinary action up
to termination of employment.
46. There is CCTV installed inside the camp and canteen building and the outside areas as well, for monitoring
purpose and to ensure the security of residents.
47. Company has the right to confiscate any prohibited items and/or items that are being used in such a manner
that it will lead to violating the Accommodation Rules and Regulations.
 Cleaning &Maintenance requirements:
48. The Camp in Charge will maintain a record for all cleaning and maintenance activities in camp & canteen
building (Common Areas) .Facility must be maintained in a clean and orderly fashion at all times. Camp in
charge will keep a detailed cleaning program and ensure that cleaning personnel follow the program and
record the cleaning of the camp and canteen daily.
49. Residents are responsible for maintaining their rooms clean, tidy & hygienic, and the garbage should be
disposed at the designated places, and no waste should be dumped or kept in the corridors. Littering the camp
areas in and around the accommodation is prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.
50. Residents willfully damaging the building, property or fixtures and fittings in the camp/ canteen, or permitting
them to be inflicted damaged in access of reasonable wear and tear and which in the opinion of the authorized
person in charge of inspection, falls into the foregoing categories, the employee/ resident shall defray the cost
of repair. The Company shall replace all broken and worn –out parts of the furniture’s, fixtures, appliances
and sanitary fittings damaged by the Residents but the cost for replacement will be deducted by the concerned
Resident/s.
51. Resident shall inform the Camp In charge/Personnel of any problems that need rectification by way of
maintenance and should not try to rectify the problems themselves.
52. Resident must allow the Inspection Team assigned by the Admin Department to enter their rooms for
maintenance or inspection purpose on a regular basis.
53. Dismantling of furniture provided in the camp or canteen building is not allowed. Resident is required to pay
for the cost of assembling and attaching these items to their original state.
54. Admin/Camp In charge reserves the right to check the rooms periodically or upon any complaints.
55. No appliances or fixtures shall be affixed to the walls that require the drilling of holes or that result in
permanently defacing the surface. If there is a need for such thing, special request should be submitted to Camp
Personnel who will submit to ADMIN Dept. to be assessed and if it's approved, the work will be done by the
company and NOT to be done by the employee/room resident himself.
 Smoking policy:
56. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Camp and Canteen building as per the company policy.
57. Smoking can only be permitted in the smoking zone located outside the camp building.
58. RAK Precast & TTCC follow a "Smoke- free Workers' Accommodation Policy", and any Employee/ Resident
found smoking inside the Camp or Canteen building will face a disciplinary action and fines will be imposed.

 Accommodation Amenities:
59. Laundry services will be provided to all residents free of charge; Laundry schedule will be prepared and
maintained by the Camp in charge (4 times/ Washes per month for each employee). Laundry Boys are
responsible of collecting the residents' clothes and washing it as per the schedule and to return it to the
residents. Residents will be responsible for drying their clothes, and should use ONLY the designated areas
for drying clothes outside the camp building.
60. Ironing facilities will be provided and resident can iron their own clothes in the specified areas. No ironing to
be done inside the residents rooms.
61. Designated place for barber service is provided at the canteen building for residents use.
62. Transportation for Friday prayers will be provided to all residents.
63. Every Friday a trip (to other emirates) will be arranged by the Company, there will be limited number of
employees (One Bus) therefore prior booking is essential thru camp personnel. Trip destination will be
announced in the camp every week and employees are required to register their names if they are interested.
Refreshments will be served.
 Alcohol Policy
64. Alcohol is strictly prohibited within the premise as per the UAE Labour Law, Free Zone Authority and
Company Policy.
65. Drinking Alcohol, bringing alcohol to the camp (Smuggling alcohol inside the camp/ canteen), or being under
the influence of alcohol (being drunk) is strictly prohibited and anyone found so ,will be subject to disciplinary
action up to and including termination of employment.
 General Provisions:
66. Any Resident found to be in breach of the accommodation rules and regulations or guilty of misconduct will
be subject to disciplinary actions. Workers will be offered consultation first before taking strict actions, there
will be fair hearing which includes the Community Representatives, and workers have the right to defend
themselves.
67. There will be a suggestion box kept near the Camp Office, so that Residents can drop in their suggestions and
to allow employees to lodge any grievances about their accommodation. Suggestions will be kept confidential
and be used only for the purpose of improvement.
68. The best maintained room or rooms will be rewarded.
69. Company reserves the right to impose new rules and amend the existing rules in connection with the
accommodation from time to time, and such additions and amendments shall be duly notified to Residents
accordingly.

 For violation of any of the above mentioned rules and regulation, and after the failure of consultation
and after verbal warning, the following fines will be imposed:
a. Smoking inside the Rooms or the camp& Canteen building:
 First Warning , plus a fine of AED 250
 Second Warning plus a fine of AED 500
 Third Warning plus Termination
 For serious cases that involve fire incident or major damage to company property, an immediate
termination will be effective after deducting the cost of damage incurred to the company's property.
b. Removing or tampering with smoke detectors in rooms and Fire alarm system.
 First Warning , plus a fine of AED 250
 Second Warning plus a fine of AED 500
 Third Warning plus Termination
 For serious cases that involve fire incident or major damage to company property, an immediate
termination will be effective after deducting the cost of damage incurred to the company's property
c. Drinking Alcohol/Being Drunk inside the Camp/Canteen.
 First Warning plus AED500 fine.
 Second Warning plus AED 1000 Fine
 Third Warning plus Termination
 For serious cases that involve fighting or damaging of company’s assets at the accommodation, an
immediate Termination will be effective after deducting the cost of damage incurred to the
company's property.
 For smuggling alcohol inside the camp for the purpose of selling it to other workers, a fine of AED
1,000 will be imposed plus warning letter. If repeated will result in termination of employment.

d. Locker’s Key:
 Loosing or misplacing the lockers Key AED 100 Fine.
e. Changing rooms and Beds without the approval of camp in charge and Admin Dept.
 First Warning verbal
 Second warning with 150 deduction
 Third warning with 250 deduction
 Final warning plus a risk of termination from the camp.

f. Cooking inside the rooms or using any of the following equipment inside the rooms: gas stoves, ovens,
microwave ovens, fridges, and kettles:
 First warning plus 500 deductions.
 Final warning with termination from the camp.

g. Washing clothes inside the bathroom and drying clothes in the common areas or staircases or anywhere
outside the laundry room.
 First Warning verbal
 Second warning with 100 deduction
 Third warning with 150 deduction
 Final warning plus a risk of termination from the camp.

h. Placing TV inside the rooms.


 First warning plus 500 deductions.
 Final warning with termination from the camp.

i. Damaging or misplacing the shoe rack.


 For misplacing, first warning and if repeated second warning plus 200 deduction.
 For damaging, first warning plus 400 deduction.

j. Damaging or breaking any item in the camp, fines / deducted amount, will be equal to the amount
incurred by company for fixing and replacing the damaged parts.
k. Jumping FZ fence
 Warning plus AED 500 fine
 If repeated, risk of employment termination.

 Employee declaration and undertaking.
