KING EDWARD MEDICAL UNIVERSITY LAHORE Office of the Vice Chancellor, KEMU Lahore Post RN BSN Program At College of Nursing, KEMU, Lahore for Session 2019-2021 Applications are invited from eligible candidates for induction in Post RN BSN Program being offered in College of Nursing King Edward Medical University, Lahore (A) _ ELIGIBILITY © Having diploma in 03 years General Nursing & 01 year Midwifery registered with Pakistan Nursing Council, Islamabad © For male Nurse, 01 year specialized course diploma in any discipline registered with Pakistan Nursing Council, Islamabad. © In case of Public Sector, the candidate must have 03 years regular service on his/her credit and 03 years setvice as staff nurse in case of private candidate. (The reqular/ Public candidates having 01 Year Regular service with total of 03 Years service can apply against Private seats). © — Agelimit for both candidates is 55 years from public/private sector which is subjected to Govt. Rules. (B) ENTRANCE TEST (@) The Entry Examination for admission in Post RN BSN program will be a competitive examination. (b) The total marks of the Entry Examination will be 100 Marks consisting of Written 100 MCQs to be attempted in 180 minutes. (Written Examination will be held on Sunday, 11 th November, 2018 at 10:00 am at KEMU, Lahore. (d) The student scoring 50% marks will be considered pass but admission will be based on the overall merit achieved by the candidate as per amended Post RN BSN Regulations 2017 (@) Details of examination format and application procedure can be downloaded from KEMU website: www.kemuedu.pk (C) APPLICATION PROCEDURE (i) The Application Form can be downloaded from KEMU website www.kemu.edu.pk. (i) NOC from current institute and Health Department is mandatory for in-service candidates. (ili) Duly filled Application Forms along with all necessary attested documents and an original Bank slip (A/c No. 3003251820, title: VC KEMU, NBP Anarkali Branch Code 303) / Bank Draft/Pay Order of Rs.1500/- in the favour of the Vice Chancellor, KEMU Lahore, must reach the Office of the Registrar, KEMU, Lahore from 8th October 2018 to 22nd October 2018 during working hours. (iv) Application Form with double fee (Rs.3000/-) will be accepted from 23rd October 2018 to 25th October 2018 during working hours. (v)_ Admittance Cards/Roll Number Slips will be issued on the same day of submission of application form. (vi) No application will be entertained after 25th October 2018, (vil).
