How to do Calibration on Auto Hematology Analyzer

Note: There is 2 different Mode for Calibration. User can do calibration in Admin mode when the
control is out of Range and the Repeatibility is acceptable. Engineer need to do calibration in
Engineer Mode after Repairing.

Mode 1: Calibrate In Admin mode (For User)

(1) Enter “Setting” and then log on with Administrator.


Note: Input the Password 1008 for Admin and Click “ok”
(2) Enter the Calibration Button. Setup the calibrator settings, and then do calibration to get
the new calibration factor.

Auto Calibration:
Click Setting option and then Input the Target values and Lot.No..

Click Save and then Click “OK” to enter Calibrator testing interface:

Each time before calibrator testing, Please Shake the calibrator uniformly, and then put
the calibrator under the Probe, and then make sure the Probe in the center of the Blood,
Click the Aspiration button. Then the instrument will automatically test.
You can test 3 times and confirm the CV%. If the CV% is ok, then you can click Save
button to click the new Calibrator factor.
Note: The diluents button is used when it need to collect Diluent for Prediluent mode.

Manual Calibration:
Click “Manual Calibration” button and then you will enter the following interface:

The New factor for different items is calculated from the below formula:
New Factor =(Target Value)*(Obtain value)*Old factor
Note: The obtain value is obtained on the instrument as a sample. The Target value can
be the values of Calibrator or the testing result of Normal Blood from the other good
working instrument.

After inputting the factors, which Unit is %, please click “Save” button.

Mode 2: Calibrate in Engineer Mode (For Engineer Use)

(1) Enter Setting and then log with Engineer


Note: The Engineer Password is 1001. Click “OK” to Exit.
(2) Enter the Calibration Button. Setup the calibrator settings, and then do calibration to get
the new calibration factor.

Click Setting option and then Input the Target values and Lot.No..
Click Save and then Click “OK” to enter Calibrator testing interface:

If the Auto calibration didn’t work properly, please go to the Manual calibration and then
click “Default” button to enable all factor is 1.

Click “Manual Calibration” button and then you will enter the following interface:
